Roe Summer Cottage, Suite B

3 camere da letto, 2 bagni in vittoriano ristrutturato. Vieni a visitare il cottage estivo Roe! Nel 1800 il Roe Cottage fungeva da pensione estiva. È caduto in rovina negli anni successivi, ma lo abbiamo riportato in vita con una ristrutturazione completa. Suite B comprende l'intero 2 ° piano dell'edificio e 8 posti letto in 3 camere da letto. Facile check in con il codice per l'ingresso fornito prima del vostro arrivo.




Il tuo ingresso al secondo piano conduce in una cucina aperta e in soggiorno. La cucina è fornita di piatti di base, bicchieri, posate e pentole. La zona giorno ha posti a sedere comodi, una TV a schermo piatto con grande selezione di canali via cavo. C'è una seconda TV in un'altra camera da letto. La sala da pranzo ha un grande tavolo con 8 posti a sedere.

I letti sono tutti fatti con lenzuola fresche per il vostro arrivo. I due bagni sono provvisti di asciugamani e salviette pulite.

C'è una strada privata con parcheggio per 4 auto tutte in una strada tranquilla nel centro di Watkins Glen. Il Roe Summer Cottage si trova a pochi passi dal lago Seneca, dal Watkins Glen State Park e da Franklin Street, la principale arteria di Watkins Glen.

Overall a very convenient rental location. So close to Watkins Glen since it was only 2 blocks away. Close to the grocery store (Tops), a yummy BBQ place (Nick's), and a great ice cream bar (Glen's Dairy Bar). Very helpful to have a kitchen to cook meals throughout our stay. Appreciated the space and cleanliness of the 2 bathrooms. Had more than enough towels for our family. Great having room darkening shades in the windows too. Must stops relatively nearby are Corning Glass Museum, Watkins Glen, and Letchworth State Park. Just be aware some of the trails are closed for maintenance during the winter/early spring..

First impressions: roomy, clean, neat and excellent location! Was especially fond of the coffee shop across the street. The apartment is bare bones so take note of the amenities and stop at the store on your way for coffee, tea, soap or shampoo. There were a few maintenance issues but the host was quick to respond. Overall, you can’t find a better location. Great trip!

This property is in a great location to easily walk to the marina, the park, restaurants, etc. Lovely town, beautiful area, nice main street attractions, and friendly people. Property was clean and had all necessities. Property management was very responsive.

We were in town working the race at Watkins Glen. The location to the track was perfect. The house was exceptionally clean. Very relaxing and had everything that we needed.

The Roe summer cottage is very nice, and the location is perfect. We were able to walk to downtown, Seneca Lake, and the Watkins Glen State Park. We actually went to the park twice we were so close. My husband enjoyed "Drive the Glen" at the Watkins Glen racecourse and driving the original road course from 1948. Lastly, it was nice be next to church, and we walked over for Sunday mass. We had a great family trip and will be back!

The suite was great, we had a full house 5 adults 2 children and the space was perfect for orderign in, cooking as well as going out in the area to explore. We did have some issues parkign as the spots were not alocated and the drive way was shared, but we made the most of it!

Great location and clean property. Walking distance to Watkins glen park and restaurants. Neighboring Church bells ring loudly between 10pm to 8 am so bring earplugs if you don’t want to be woken up that early.

The property is in great location as described on website. Manager was very responsive to calls and acted immediately to fix issues. My only negative was not enough plates towels cups only 5 of each. Very limited even toilet paper and paper towels ran out. Need more stock ..

The host was very responsive to my many questions. Check in was available on time. Maybe I didn't read the listing details closely enough but it is valuable to know in advance that this is an old Victorian that was changed into three separate apartments. A on the first floor, B on the 2nd and C on the 3rd. No elevators if you need them. Updated with modern appearance and colors but very sparsely decorated, which for us was not a problem or a negative at all. Very convenient to the small downtown of Watkins Glen. Only one block walk to the historic start finish line of the 1948 Grand Prix and another block to the amazing State Park buildings. Valuable to us was the adequate parking for a truck and car trailer beside the house. Next door neighbor was very friendly and welcomed us to the neighborhood. Quite a pleasant touch. Our unit B had three bedrooms with 4 queen beds.total. two full baths.
