“We planned the booking for the pool but it was cold, the floors were slimey, the water was foggy and the hot tub was out of order. My granddaughter was extremely disappointed. I wouldn’t have booked had I I is that the pool was in that condition.
The room was ok but very noisy with the pool there.
The one gentleman in the evening was very nice”

“Met or exceeded every expectation. Not sure if I got some kind of super-secret deal, but this hotel delivered FAR more than I expected for the very reasonable price I paid.
I travel to the Detroit area on business multiple times a year. I don't know how I never had this place come up on my list before. It will definitely be a "go-to" for me in the future.
BIG place. Really much larger than most Best Westerns. A few miles out -- but close enough to downtown to be reasonable for daily...

“Our stay here was exceptional except you weren't allowed to bring outside food in or DoorDash. I understand that since they have a restaurant on-site but it closes earlier than we thought. We were in town for a concert and wanted a bite to eat afterwards but just went to be a bit hungry lol. We probably could have found somewhere to dine but it was 11 pm on a Wednesday...not many dine in spots hence the need for DoorDash. I would absolutely stay here again despite that minor inconvenience....

“The rooms are extremely outdated and in desperate need of renovations. The wallpaper is peeling, the curtains are falling down, and the overall condition of the room feels worn and poorly maintained. It doesn’t reflect the quality I expect from a Holiday Inn. I hope the hotel invests in renovations and better upkeep .”

“The staff could not have been nicer, and honestly, their management left them with a terrible situation with unsafe 98 degree weather and a failing AC and a lack of fans.
We had to move rooms and it was still 80 degrees in our new room. They didn’t have enough fans, which is not ok. They did find me an AC window but the very kind maintenance couldn’t get the window in the bedroom which is another layer of unsafe condition in a fire. Scary situation TBH.
