    Welcome to Lazy Moose Cabin, managed by Carolina Mountain Vacation Homes, a family-owned company serving travelers in Maggie Valley and Waynesville since the early 1990s.

    Located in the private, gated Cataloochee Ranch Estates, Lazy Moose is a true log cabin offering privacy, comfort, and seasonal mountain views from its wrap-around deck.

Beautiful cozy cabin!!!..everything you need is there, from linens to a fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of firewood for the private fenced in fire pit area. Beautiful wrap around porch..very private, we didn’t see another person unril the last day. Driveway is pretty steep, it took us 3 x to get up there...definitely going back!Just book it, you won't be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay! Loved the house. Beautiful and very well stocked! They have thought of everything you might need! Driveway was a little intense but lots better in the daylight!! We have stayed in a bunch of Vrbos and this was by far the most comfortable one ever! Cozy and well appointed. Even the dogs were happy.

Beautiful property

Very clean, lovely cabin- right off the interstate so a bit of a drive to anything. No trash service at all- you have to take your own trash to the dump- which is closed on Sunday- be warned if you are a weekend guest with pets. Cabin itself is excellent, plenty of supplies and great views, peaceful area excellent for relaxing.
