Serenity Hill is close to the Cataloochee Ranch for Elk Viewing and also close enough to visit Harrah's Casino and the Cherokee Indian Reservation, Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Asheville and The Biltmore Estate, Historic downtown Waynesville, The Blue Ridge Parkway and Cataloochee Ski Area are also just a short drive.

Whatever the season, Serenity Hill and the Great Smokies have something very special to offer. From the wildflowers of spring, to the blaze of colors in the fall or the serenity of winter, come visit and make lasting memories at Serenity Hill.

  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

Not happy with the cleanliness of the house, as well as the condition of some of the things in the house. The bathrooms were not cleaned before we arrived. Upstairs bathroom mirror ridiculously unusable. Literally, used bar soap and hair shavings (beard trimmings maybe...maybe something else?) in the master bath shower. Main room slider door handles falling off, barely held on with tapcon screws. Placemats on dining table dirty with old food stuck to them. Rugs flipped up on corners posing trip/fall risk.

Beautiful view! Cabin could have been a little cleaner. Need some update done to it. The bedroom was dusty. The floors were dirty was not clean enough cleaning crew not doing their job.

Great cabin for mountain area getaway convenient to Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Could be cleaner, however still a great value for the price. A little confusion at check in because I didn’t get the email to come to the office to check in, but there was a lockbox at the house so after calling we were able to get in. Property management was very responsive gracious about it. Overall I would stay again and recommend to friends.

Great location, great view!

Cabin is located 10 minutes from Maggie Valley Festival Grounds and ten minutes from I-40 to visit Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or Ashville. The cabin setting was awesome, nice place. The only problem we had was the place was not very clean(floors and kitchen draws).

As expected from photos

The home is clean, comfortable and well stocked as stated. The views are beautiful and captures the essence of the Smokies. The lack of any handsoap or one roll of paper towels is not commensurate with the otherwise outstanding experience!

Incredible views of the mountains and a gorgeous rural setting!

The pictures don't do the property justice. Your view is breathtaking! There were 2 different addresses after we booked and the street on the map and GPS we're confusing. The property manager was quick to confirm the correct address. We were pleasantly surprised by the condition of the home and the incredible breathtaking views of this gorgeous countryside! My wife and I were definitely looked forward to having coffee in the morning and sharing cocktails with the family at night! We highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back soon!

Amazing Views

Amazing mountain views. Very cozy and well divided cabin, excellent location between Ashville, NC and Cherokee. There were a few housekeeping issues with the place, some of the sheets had stains, behind and under the beds were candy wrapper and I ended up cleaning the grill since only 2 burners were barely working. Other than that, the place is amazing

Nice location

Nice location and rooms described accurately. If you have a trailer with motorcycles-better back into drive!!! Cleanliness and basic supplies (ie: dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper) have much to be desired. Overall we had a nice stay.

Everyone needs to Stay Here!

Peaceful, that’s the best way I can describe Serenity Hill. Great location, close to restaurants, as well as many sites to see. If I had one complaint it would be just a few dust bunnies, but what Home doesn’t have a few somewhere. I would gladly come back here and stay. Thank you Carolina Vacations for a great weekend.
