The Space

Our 650 sqft property offers a comfortable and inviting space for your stay. The home features two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area. It's clean, well-maintained, and perfect for families attending military graduations at Ft. Leonard Wood.

The bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping arrangements, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone. The backyard offers a peaceful outdoor retreat, great for morning coffee or evening barbecues, and it's ideal for families with kids.

You'll find modern amenities like complimentary Wi-Fi and three flat-screen Roku TVs for your entertainment. The proximity to town and dining options make it convenient to explore the area and enjoy local cuisine.

Whether you're here for a military graduation or simply looking for a clean and cozy retreat, our property is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Guest Access

During your stay, you'll have access to the entire property, including both bedrooms, the fully equipped kitchen, the cozy living area, and the relaxing backyard. Feel free to make yourself at home and enjoy all the amenities provided for your comfort and convenience. Please note one bedroom closet is locked and will not be available for guest use.

Other Things to Note

Before booking, here are some special details to enhance your stay:

Military Graduations: Our property is conveniently located for guests attending military graduations at Ft. Leonard Wood. The Nest if 5.4 miles from the front gate which is an 11-minute drive in normal traffic. Please allow extra drive-time on Family Day and Graduation Day due to traffic.

Quiet Neighborhood: We're situated in a peaceful neighborhood, so we kindly ask guests to respect the tranquility of our community, especially during late hours.

Check-in/Check-out: Check-in times are sometimes flexible but check-out times are often firm to allow time for cleaning before the next guest. Please let us know your estimated arrival and departure times in advance, so we can make arrangements to accommodate your schedule.

Local Recommendations: We're happy to provide recommendations for dining, attractions, and activities in the area. Feel free to ask for suggestions to make the most of your stay.

Our small space does not have room for a dining table, so we’ve provided 4 collapsible tray tables.

A baby crib is available upon request.

Great location to fort Leonard wood. If you have plans to go for a graduation. The house felt like it was a home, very clean with all essentials included. Quiet neighborhood, nice back deck. Really couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you so much for welcoming us.

This was 5plus stars! Quiet, clean, cozy, just perfect. Outside firepit, few neighbors, nothing but trees in the back. Beds comfy and very welcoming!!close to Fort Leonard wood where we went. Great food nearby. Great communication with the owners. You definitely should stay! I was there 3 nights, and enjoyed every second! Games to play books to read!

The Nest is Fantastic! Extremely clean, all new furniture and appliances. Sheets and towels are all great. Very nice back deck. Very quiet and peaceful.Some neighboring properties are somewhat rundown, but absolutely no noise, issues, concerns.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful upgrade from a hotel, especially for a longer stay.We look forward to our next trip and stay at The Nest.

My family choose to stay in this beautiful clean and recently renovated home while attending Boot Camp Graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. It was minutes from the base, close to local and franchised restaurants, and quick and easy to get to from the highway.Owner left little treats, such as chocolate and a note, that made the stay feel personable.I would definitely rent from this Owner again if needed.

This place was really cute and made you feel relaxed. The place had everything you could ask for and the location is just man quiet area with the forest to the back of the house. The hostess awesome. We had issues with the door code and he was Johnny on helping us. It is a great place to stay if you are visoting Ft Lenard wood .

I was impressed, the house was very clean. I loved the way they have cleaning supplies on hand and left little snacks out for us. My soldier (son) got to come and get comfortable away from home before he had to return back on base.

The host left a kind note for us (our family is going through a difficult time) and some complimentary chocolates. There are so many homey, personal touches throughout the home. The house was very clean, and I am particular about cleanliness when staying somewhere for a trip, so that’s saying a lot! If I need a place to stay again in this area, I will certainly book this property again.

The “Nest” was the perfect stay for 3 days while our son graduated from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood. Mike was prompt on his responses and the pictures on VRBO looked exactly as the house itself. It was nicely located within 15 minutes from the base and a lot of food options in the area. We really enjoyed that our 2 dogs could come and the fenced in backyard was perfect for them to run and play. I would definitely recommend this house if you’re looking for a place to stay while in the area. The experience was one of the best VRBO rentals we’ve stayed at. The Nest was the perfect place, clean and homey. We were in town for my sons basic training graduation and it is just 10 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood. A curtain fell from the wall and Mike responded within the hour and arrived that evening to repair. Overall 5 starts.

The place was perfect for what we wanted. We were attending our daughter’s graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. Perfect location for that only like 10 min from the base. We were able to bring her there during her family day and after her graduation to spend quality time and have her back by 6 no problem. The place was clean and was perfect. I stayed here at the nest for my son’s graduation from Fort Leonard Wood. It was very close to base. The stay was perfect. There’s a cute back deck that’s brand new with a Firepit and bbq grill. I didn’t use but none the less it’s there. The entire residence I’m prettt sure is brand new. The beds were comfy, the temperature was comfortable and there was coffee!! Overall 5* and if needed I would stay here without a doubt.
