“Staff very welcoming ”

“Very quiet area, friendly staff, and the room was nicer than expected and clean. Housekeeping came every day without me even requesting it, which was a nice touch. For the price, it’s definitely a good deal. My only complaint is the breakfast, it was just okay and didn’t include any protein.”

“For an older motel this was a well maintained property and very reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and it was a very quiet place. I would probably stay there again if I was in Maggie Valley.”

“I had a very enjoyable stay at Sleepy Bear last week. I was there for a week long motorcycle tour of the area. I was able to park my bike outside my ground floor room. The room was spacious and clean. HVAC worked fine and the beds are comfortable. Large, newer, flat screen tv was nice. After a long day of riding I was able to sit on the back porch of the room and relax to a gentle rolling stream right behind the motel. “Taking a shower there was excellent the water pressure was strong and felt good. Bathroom a little small but overall I enjoyed my stay there. I book this place again and stay there ”

“This is a great stay, accommodations were awesome clean Very Cool vibe beautiful little river running through would be a great place to set up camp if you're exploring this area for a couple days or just an awesome place to stay for the night if you're passing through would definitely stay here again.”
