“The suite was nice and big. Bed was comfortable with great pillows! Breakfast was okay.”

“The room was clean and we got what we expected for one of the cheapest options in the area, which was a solid "okay" experience. The building and rooms are old and outdated, but serviceable. The continental breakfast was a grab and go set up with standard limited fare (bananas, apples, fruit loops, packaged pastries, bagels, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal packets, tea, coffee). “Arrived to find the office closed with a hand written note explaining lobby was closed and that you had to inquire at the hotel across the street. That hotel was also closed. Parking lot had bbqs in parking stalls, a kiddie pool in another with absolutely no parking available. We never did get checked in and had to find another hotel for the night.”

“Pleasant, helpful staff. Clean room, comfortable bed. Convenient in-room mini fridge and microwave. The only issue was creaky floor above our room—even though upstairs person did not stomp and was quiet.”

“Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was good on one day. Same item on next day was messed up. Location is very near to all location of my Shasta. City is quiet and relaxed. Have Tesla, rivian and other charges on site. Good stay.”

“Basecamp lodge is a beautiful property slightly away from the main Mount Shasta town. The property is clean and you get "the freshest water in the USA" in the tap. The beds are big (we had a king bed) and very comfortable. You have beautiful Mount Shasta views from the property and it's close to all the hikes, waterfalls and lakes you want to visit.”
