“Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Auf unsere Anfrage hin wurde das Zimmer problemlos gewechselt, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das neue Zimmer war sehr modern, sauber und neuwertig. Das Frühstück war für sri-lankische Verhältnisse gut und ausreichend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen.”

“My sister and i had such an amazing time at this homestay. The hosts were so kind, the room was spotless and very big. It didn’t have air conditioning, however we didn’t find it too hot with the fans! The bathroom was great, good shower and the location was quiet and peaceful. It’s a short walk to the Main Street but still close to many restaurants and coconut hill. Thank you again for having us! :)”

“Just an absolutely awful hotel. Do not be fooled by the photos, they are from around a decade ago. Everything is old, broken, full of ants and dead flies, the showers have no doors, the pool looks like a horror film. Some other guests had a party until 5am and when we tried to find a member of staff to complain to there was no-one all night. And then they claimed the next morning there was no party. We tried to ask for a partial refund but the owner refused and made us pay 100%. The...

“Unsere Zeit im Asaya Sands hat und uns sehr gut gefallen und wir können auf jeden Fall einen Aufenthalt an diesem schönen, idyllischen Ort empfehlen. Das Personal war äusserst Freundlich und aufmerksam, der Pool wunderschön und das Essen und die Getränke waren gut. “We stayed around a week with a family (a kid and partner). The location is excellent, slightly elevated above the main road, which means there is no traffic noise. The beach is within easy walking distance. The balcony is spacious and offers an amazing ocean view. Parking space is available if you have vehicle. The swimming pool is located at the back of the property and opens into a forest‑like setting, filled with nature and the sound of singing birds. The property also has a pleasant on‑site...
