“I did one overnight stay with my boyfriend and one year old. Unfortunately the pool was out of service, but the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. We drove in to Columbus, which was 10 minutes down I 10 towards Houston to go to a steakhouse and popped into their Hound song brewery for an appetizer and beer. Very easy location to access off of the interstate and close to gas stations, fast food, and Dollar General.”

“Hotel was not as I expected. I was hoping to find a family owned, well cared for, small town hotel but instead we found a small town, family owned tired and outdated hotel. The beds were not bad, but the hotel itself needs much updated. The bed skirts were dirty and torn, the base molding on the walls were coming off, the room refrigerator was nasty, the carpet was dirty and the bathroom floor was dirty. “Air conditioning, hot water and fridge worked great but hair in the sink, the beds were nasty ”

“When trying to get into our room the safety latch had been turned to keep anyone from getting into the room. Had to go back to lobby to get help. The clerk tried to accuse us of turning the latch. Told her we were just checking in and haven't even been in the room. She had no way to get the door open. Had to go back to lobby to get another room. Then back to get my partner and carry everything to another floor. Was very inconvenient since we are elderly. Breakfast wasn't anything to brag about.”

“Breakfast was minimal but sufficient. Check in with Chris was pleasant. Checkout was a little weird. I called a couple of times & rang the bell. They finally showed. Other than that, quiet property. I'll use again.”
