The property has a beautiful beachfront atmosphere with a calm, boho-style design that feels very different from a normal hotel. However, the grounds and overall maintenance do not reflect the level expected from a Relais & Châteaux or Michelin Key property. There were dry leaves and weeds throughout the territory, and several trees appeared infested or dying. “Our stay in the garden villa was really great. It was clean and spacious with a semi outdoor bathroom. The pool area was straight in front of the ocean so you could watch the waves from your sunbed. Surf board hire was cheap with a large range of boards. Drinks were cheap and food yummy.”

“The stay here was great. Host very gracious. There are two separate bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen with a gas burner, refrigerator,dishes and pans, small dining room, patio with a day bed, washing machine. Bedrooms have a/c. Other rooms with ceiling fans. WiFi worked well. Host provided laundry detergent, shampoo, sun screen and mosquito repellent. He also provided us with some great meals.
