    Experience classic Cape Cod living at this beautifully renovated historic home, perfectly situated between the ocean and bay beaches in scenic Wellfleet. Set along a quiet sandy road and surrounded by woodland, this peaceful retreat offers the ideal balance of privacy, nature, and convenient access to the Cape’s most sought-after destinations. It's a great location and setup for beach-goers, with beach chairs, an umbrella, and life jackets provided for your days on the shore, and an outdoor shower (with hot water!) waiting to welcome you home from a day of exploration. You can easily walk or bike to some of the area’s most beloved attractions, including the iconic Wellfleet Drive-In Theater and the scenic Cape Cod Rail Trail, a paved bike path stretching miles through forests, salt marshes, and charming coastal towns. Nearby destinations include: Sunken Meadow Beach — less than 2 miles (calm waters, great for families), Marconi Beach — 4 miles (dramatic dunes and Atlantic surf), Wellfleet town center — 6 miles (galleries, restaurants, and shops), and several crystal-clear freshwater kettle ponds for swimming and paddling. Whether you're planning long beach days, scenic bike rides, or sunset walks along the coast, this location makes everything effortless. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. The fireplace is not for use. The Amazon Fire TV Stick requires guests' own account credentials for streaming. Bedroom 3 is used as an office and has a desk and a futon. All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

New house rental at 35 Silver Spring Rd

If you are looking for a cute house in a quiet location down a dirt road and in the woods (away from Rt 6 traffic), for a max of 6 guests - this could be it! The only noise we heard came from the flock of turkeys that checked up on us daily. The house has the most important amenities for a family beach vacay: outdoor shower, ac, washer/drier and dishwasher. Even beach towels were included. The kitchen was pretty well stocked for a first time rental, with the few things that were missing hopefully to be added (basic spices, blender, a tv that works and perhaps a vacuum cleaner). We had a great time and would happily rent this house again.

Wonderful house

Wonderful, spacious house filled with light and a great breeze, just as pictured on the site. It was clean when we arrived and they sent cleaners quickly at our request to do some additional cleaning of pollen from some windowsills. Kitchen had nearly everything we would want, and they quickly brought over a new drip coffee machine when we inquired about that. Lots of great books and toys for kids, as well as beach equipment. Lovely location in the woods near Wellfleet Audubon, with some neighbors nearby - it is quiet, peaceful, and definitely in nature with lots of turkeys, coyotes, bunnies and birds, which we loved! Things we would change: more seating in the living room (there is one couch and one chair), and more screens on the sliding doors in the sun room/porch so it can be opened up a bit more - only one of the 3-4 sliding doors had screens when we were there. Overall excellent experience and amenities - we really loved our stay and would definitely come back.
