Situato a pochi passi dalla spiaggia (circa 5 decimi di miglio da Moody Point su Ocean Avenue), questo cottage è nascosto in un tranquillo quartiere residenziale. Dal soggiorno, puoi goderti il bordo di Rachel Carson Park e vedere la palude che conduce al fronte dell'oceano. Sedersi fuori su un accogliente ponte o rilassarsi nella veranda chiusa. La casa dispone di 3 diverse aree per mangiare perfette per famiglie e riunioni. La cucina è completamente arredata con forno a microonde, lavastoviglie e ha un'accogliente zona pranzo. Rilassati in uno dei due salotti. La casa dispone di 2 camere da letto con letti matrimoniali, un letto singolo perfetto per un bambino e un divano letto nel soggiorno. La camera da letto principale ha un piccolo ponte che conduce al cortile laterale e c'è un bagno aggiuntivo adiacente alla seconda camera da letto. La seconda camera ha anche un piccolo televisore. Oltre alla tv via cavo, la casa ha anche il wifi. Il cottage è inoltre dotato di lavatrice e asciugatrice.
Fornisce un ambiente perfetto per famiglie e coppie per godersi l'esperienza del Maine meridionale. Wells Beach è una piacevole passeggiata di circa 1 miglio dal cottage. Drake's Island, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport e York Beach sono tutti a pochi minuti di distanza.

Comfortable and Convenient

This was a very nice clean quiet place to stay enough room for a family to be together but also have their own space. It was close to everything we wanted. The walk to the sea wall was about 15 minutes. Crescent beach just a little further. The walk to the Scoop Deck, ice cream stand is also about 15 minutes. Other beaches are a short drive. The owner was responsive and helpful.

Maine Vacation

The cottage was the same as the listing. It has 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a kitchen. Plenty of room. There was 5 adults that went and we all had our own bed to sleep in. You can see the marsh behind the house across the street. You can get some pretty good sunrises over the marsh

Great place!

Plenty of room for four adults. Everything necessary was there. Nice neighborhood. Each person had there own space. We enjoyed it so much we are planning to go again next year.

Très bel endroit

Nous y avons séjourné pour la semaine. La maison est très grande, les lits sont confortables, la climatisation fonctionne bien et la maison est très bien située. La communication avec Betsy est impeccable. Elle répond rapidement et est très aidante La propreté est correct. Le ménage hebdomadaire est bien fait, mais le ménage en profondeur pourrait être mieux ( armoires, stores, murs, etc)

July at Wells 2023

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Wells!! The owner of this property was wonderful to work with. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Parking at the beaches can be an issue, we are fortunate to have friends that let us park at their homes. The only slight negative was the well water and the mosquitoes...and pretty much impossible to get rid of those pesky bugs.😉

Great little getaway

We had a great stay just a short trip from the beach and other amenities! Had a nice cottage/camp feeling and wasn’t over the top or to modernized. Everything was as advertised and it was a quiet peaceful stay. Betsy was easy to deal with and very tentative. Would definitely recommend.

A Month Of Pure Joy

Betsy’s house in Wells is a perfect combination of an ocean beach house and a cabin in the woods. Located in a quiet neighborhood less than a mile from several gorgeous beaches, you can either walk, or if you have more than a little beach gear, you can drive to the top of the main road and park on the street for free. The house is thankfully not overly fancy. It’s got a real casual vibe that is simply relaxing. Comfortable bedrooms, (2) bathrooms, some nice extra space, a lovely pine paneled front porch, a family room with TV and space for what I set up as an office, a huge eat in kitchen and a living room. We spent a month there, and settled in like it was our own home. The house is air conditioned if needed, but ceiling fans in most rooms and beautiful breezes take care of anything but the hottest, muggiest days. The kitchen is fully equipped, there’s wifi and Dish TV, but we brought our Firestick with us, and streamed whatever we wanted. Betsy is a wonderful, responsive host, and any small problems we had were quickly taken care of by her local caretaker. Of course, nothing is perfect, the house is a little dated, but that makes it all the more inviting in my book. The furniture is comfortable, and there are plenty of places to sit and relax by yourself or with a group . For my money (and I really checked around) Betsy’s place is far and away the best place within walking distance to the beach! We loved it so much, we already booked the same month for next year. A definite 5 star experience!

Great location

Our daughter lives in East Waterboro and we love the coastline and all the activities it has to offer, so it was a great location for our vacation because we enjoyed the coastline and visits with our daughter .

Lovely vacation

We had a lovely vacation and found the area well located near many beaches (by car). We appreciated the full kitchen and everything we needed was provided. We recommend this place and would go again.

Great place to stay.

My family and I stayed for a week. It was roomy and a nice quiet neighborhood. There was a beach nearby that we drove to with free parking. Walking distance of the Scoop Deck was a plus! Betsy was very communicative and easy to reach with any questions. Some of the furniture was a little dated, but still functional. The closets were full of miscellaneous things and could use a good thorough cleaning and organization, as they were not usable for our clothes. Overall, would recommend this home. We will most likely try to stay again next year.

The location was great The space in the house was very good, we loved the various sitting areas and the bedrooms were really good. The kitchen was all that one would want, it had everything. There needs to be attention given to fixing the sliders and windows.

Misleading

After reading the description I expected to get more than I received. My connection with the owner was great and the home was in a nice neighborhood and convenient to stores and restaurants. The house was at least a mile from the beach, not as listed. The porches were small and the chairs appeared to have not been cleaned in a while. Approximately 25 % of the windows could not be opened and there where ants in the kitchen. There was a lot of clutter in all the closets and kitchen cabinets. Even with all these challenges we still had a great vacation. It is time for the owner to pay a little more attention to detail with this property.

Great cottage experience in coastal Maine

My family with two small children stayed at the cottage for 1 week. The cottage was very clean and in great condition, stocked with all essentials, down to bed linens and kitchen utensils. Enough space to accommodate a family of 4 and more! The extra living areas allowed for separation of space so that kids and adults not on top of each other. Quiet residential area, made great location for family stay. Close driving proximity to all main beaches. Walking distance to top notch ice-cream place- Scoop Deck. Would rent it again, for another vacation in Maine - Wells area!

Location, location, location!

Very cozy home with tons of rooms. Walk to Wells beach. Walk to great ice cream. Drive to awesome Maine attractions. We enjoyed this home. It had all the things you would expect in a cottage including extra quilts for those chilly nights. Comfortable and clean, this place is in a quiet neighborhood away from the craziness of Rte 1 but so close! Loved it.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was very comfortable with plenty of room. The neighborhood was quiet, convenient and walking distance to the beach. We would stay here again!
