This luxurious property is across the public way. Escape to your master suite at the end of the day. Get away year round and enjoy the warmth and ambience of Wells. The property was beautiful and all of the rooms were perfect. The main living area is upstairs and is gated to avoid having our little kids running down stairs. Owner was more than happy to accommodate us and took great care of us during our stay.

My family has been vacationing in Wells for over 40 years. Now that we’ve added a crew of grandchildren, it has been a better fit to rent a house for us all to maximize our time together and ensure accomodations fit our needs.This home offered both the size, layout, and location that we were looking for. With plenty of beds, bathrooms, and kitchen supplies, we were very pleased. The addition of beach toys and chairs was much appreciated, too!A few recommendations would be a cleaning of the second floor balcony. The chairs and picnic table were covered in dirt/layer of black mold due to the dampness. We also were unable to open the dining room (deck) door and some windows because no screens were installed.Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and hope to stay again someday!

The place is really lovely. It’s a beach house, but not overdone. Comfy and stylish. Do sit on the deck and look out at the ocean. It’ll cure whatever ails you! I had a couple of questions and the host responded to me within the hour. This place was the perfect place for my family to wind down and hang. You will not be disappointed if you rent the place! There were a group of 10 ladies for the 3 day weekend. The house was so beautiful and the location was right across the beach. Easy to walk to. Very clean when we arrived and VERY spacious. Just remember that he main floor is actually upstairs along with the master bedroom. We had a friend with a wheelchair, but we did make it work. Highly recomment this house!!

The house was amazing - clean, well furnished, comfortable, no problems at all. Plenty of room for our 3 families (6 adults, 6 kids ages 8 to 13). The location was great. The beach was breathtaking. None of us had ever been to Maine before and we fell in love with it.

This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy school break! Location was great, home was very comfortable and plenty of space to spread out! We also loved having a big kitchen that we could prepare actual meals! Host was very responsive and would reply immediately with answers of any of our questions. Perfect all around!

5 long time friends who have VRBO’d many places over the last 10 years- and we had a great stay! Clean. Well appointed kitchen, pleasant decor, easy access to the beach, lots of space. Everyone was very happy to have such nice space. 3 livingroom areas and a large table for shared meals. Thanks for a great 4 days!

This is our second year staying in this home for our girl's weekend and we had a lovely time. Plenty of space for the seven of us and we already can't wait for next year. Richard is very communicative and answers questions promptly. He was very helpful after we realized we left something behind. Big tables for game days and nights. We also took advantage of the puzzles available in the house. As other reviewers mentioned, we would love having a property info guide. We spent quite some time trying to figure out the TV and speakers in the family room (and never figured out the speakers). It was a cold and snowy weekend and the fireplace was easy to use. Kitchen is well stocked (but bring a cocktail shaker)! You will not regret a stay at this gorgeous beach house!! Final note: My bed was very comfy but those who slept in the bunk beds this year and last found them to be very uncomfortable. I'm sure they are fine for kids but not so much for adults.

Our parents love Wells Beach. We grew up vacationing here for many summers. The house was perfect! We spent most of our time in the spacious living area upstairs! The decor was inviting with plenty of room for all to gather. We enjoyed the propane fireplace and the large dining table. What we didn’t expect was all the ocean views from many rooms in the house! We are planning to return this fall for a longer stay!

Stayed in January the off season so the area was really quiet and most shops were shut down. We had all we needed in the house. We were very comfortable. The fireplace was was warm and a joy to sit by. We absolutely had no complaints at any time during our 7 day stay. We would all like to come back in the summertime.

We had a wonderful time in this “big ole house” It was well appointed with everything we could want, from comfy beds, plenty of space to unwind, lovey water views, well equipped kitchen, cozy family living room with a fireplace, plenty of bathrooms and a table long enough to accommodate our marathon Dominoes game. We brought festive decorations for this holiday getaway, but I can just imagine how lovely it is in the summer. Looking forward to returning!
