We are located at 376 Mile Road in Wells Beach Maine, a 1 minute walk from Wells Beach. We have everything you want in your Maine Coast vacation or weekend getaway. Other great beaches to explore and enjoy are also nearby.

The Wells, Maine area has many activities and attractions, including sandy beaches, wonderful restaurants, unique Maine shops, and events such as deep-sea fishing, kayaking and nature trails.


Each unit is permitted only ONE parking space
All rates subject to 9% lodging tax
All reservations subject to a resort fee and/or booking fee
Reservations for specific rooms cannot be guaranteed
A 50% deposit is required on all advance reservations
Deposits must be paid at the time of booking, or the reservation will be canceled
Payment in full is required upon the day of arrival
Payment Methods – All major credit cards accepted
No personal checks accepted
If you cancel with more than 14 days notice, you will receive a full refund, less
a $35.00 service fee . If you cancel with less than 14 days notice, you will forfeit your deposit.
No refunds for early departures
Two night minimum stay required

Convenient and comfortable

The room was very nice and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean. The biggest plus was that it was literally steps to the beach, the beach shops and the ice cream place.

Coffee and a Wells Beach sunrise

One of my goals / intentions was to experience coffee and a sunrise. I'm from the West Coast, so a sunrise as opposed to a sunset was on my bucket list for the trip. Bellevue By the Sea is a veeerrrry short walk to the seawall, and I was able to take in an amazing sunrise while enjoying morning coffee - I didn't have to drive to it, or walk a great distance. In a few short minutes from pouring myself my coffee, I was overlooking the water and looking out over the horizon. The staff is amazingly welcoming and have a relaxed nature - this time of the year it's more on the quiet side, and we were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub with some privacy. Highly recommend this location.

Location, location, location

Walk to the beach within 5 minutes. Property is clean and the room we were in is spacious. Bed could be a little more comfortable but for the price that’s really nit-picking rather than a complaint. A small Arcade is across the street and a few beach stores are between the property and the beach. Hannafords and a well apportioned liquor store are right up the road. Couldn’t be happier with the price we paid. The only thing to keep in mind is that the beach becomes nonexistent during high tide. A couple hours on either side though and you’re good to go. You really can’t beat the Bellevue if you have reasonable expectations.
