We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at this home in Wellsboro! The house and property were gorgeous, and just the right size for our group of 6 adult family members and a 4 year old. There was lots of room for him to run around and play outside safely. We loved sitting around the fire pit keeping warm on a cool night and stargazing (saw the Milky Way via our phone cameras! The back porch was also lovely for a quiet afternoon beverage between shopping in town and going back for dinner. The beds were comfy with nice linens; everything felt homey, cozier and higher quality than you might expect. It was nice to be able to log into streaming services on the TV, plus there were several games and books in the living room. It was great having two bathrooms with full tub/showers, and plenty of towels. The kitchen had just what we needed to cook breakfast in the mornings, and the dishwasher was a nice addition so my dad didn’t have to spend time at the sink! The dining room/table area was truly stunning, though we were sad we never saw any deer wandering through. In addition, the location is wonderful. Short drive into town, and just a bit longer to the Grand Canyon. It was nice to be close enough to go into Wellsboro more than once per day without feeling like we wasted time driving. The whole area is just gorgeous. This was our first time in Wellsboro, but we had such a great time that we’ll be back. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay for a lovely long weekend!
