“Comfortable and great breakfast ”

“Nice pub with good ale and friendly staff. Unfortunately situated on quite a busy road so not exactly quiet. Room was nice but could do without the plastic plants. Nice breakfast and easy to park Shower over bath not very powerful”

“Very well positioned for Goodwood House and the Motor Circuit. The Guest House was very clean and our bed was very comfortable, we slept like logs! Our host was great and cooked us breakfast. Will stay again.”

“The staff were helpful and the room was excellent - clean, well furnished, with good courtesy tray, easy to operate TV, an excellent shower in the bathroom. The only slight criticism was of the very limited choice of breakfast cereals - just rice krispies and coco-pops. Please offer muesli, Weetabix, shredded wheat etc. for those of us who prefer something more grown-up and fibrous !”

“Recently refurbished in an attractive rural style the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. No air conditioning but a remote controlled Dyson fan was provided. The staff without exception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine but could have done with some fresh fruit on the buffet table. However, when asked we were brought some pineapple which was good. The tables in the bar/restaurant were nicely laid out for dinner with proper napkins! The food was was generally typically hearty...

“We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!”
