“The sheets on the pull out sofa were not clean or changed it felt like had sand.”

“The strong odor that greets you, should’ve been our first sign to leave. This place is not updated. It was a private room but a shared building, which was surprising. The unit was old, not updated, and appeared that the owner just found cheap old furniture. There were no spare linens, stains on the walls/ceilings, and none of the windows would lock, meaning anyone could open them from the outside. It is a huge safety concern.”

“This was a cute little rental that was as described. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were accommodating and very responsive. I was impressed to learn it’s been in service for over 20 years. Loved the clubhouse and general atmosphere— reminded me of family vacations as a child in the 1990s… so quaint!! Reception and WiFi is not terrific so it was a great opportunity to play games as a family and take to the outdoors. We plan to return next year. Thank you!!!”

“Beds were comfortable for our one night stay, but it would have been helpful to know before final check-in instructions that the room was over a garage, requiring climbing steps to access. Construction was in process to install fencing and it was difficult to maneuver around the on-site dumpster to access the two visitor parking spots for guests.”

“Overall this is a nice place. Very clean! Parking was tight, walls were thin, I could hear the neighbor upstairs coughing/walking. The bed made noise every time I turned. Don’t expect your bed/mattress from home. The fire place was beautiful and it was def a warm place to sleep. Make sure to bring money to tip the house keeper/maintenance guy(if needed). “My wife and I stayed here as part of our 30 year anniversary trip. The people were super nice and the process was easy and straight forward. Having said that, it just wasnt what I was looking for. The only problems we had were the wifi didnt work and there was something weird like taffy on the bed spread. “What I’m writing is not the fault of the property—they don’t control the weather—but just information for future travelers so they can plan better than we did.This is really more of a winter resort. We stayed in the summer during an unprecedented heat wave. There was one tiny window AC unit and a big ceiling fan. Both worked great but not sufficient for the space. No prob, we thought we’ll open windows at night when it cools off…except there’s no window upstairs where it’s hot. Just a patio door...
