West Jefferson, NC - Una magnifica casa di tronchi di tipo w / pavimenti in cipresso australiano, cucina gourmet, piastrelle in marmo con accenti personalizzati e due camini di roccia (grande sala e salone). Ci sono persino statue di orso scolpite nell'enorme log. Le migliori visioni del mondo sono tue così come la privacy, a soli 5 minuti da West Jefferson. Il livello principale dispone di tre camere da letto e 2 bagni - tra cui la grande suite padronale w / TV e bagno con vasca idromassaggio oversize e sauna a vapore! Una camera degli ospiti dispone di letto matrimoniale e zona salotto, altra camera degli ospiti offre due gemelli. Al piano di sotto è una tana con f / p, tavolo da biliardo, TV / DVD, altre due camere da letto (2 doppie e 1 matrimoniale), terzo bagno completo con doccia in piedi, doppi lavandini e una lavanderia separata. The house itself is lovely with a great view! Furniture upstairs is fine, although not enough seating - one sofa and two chairs to watch tv - seating for 5 only. Weather was not great so we did watch some movies. There were countless dead flies on the windowsills (ick) and no blankets in the whole house. Sheets and light coverlets only on all the beds, and the heat could not keep up with the temps outside. It was cold but not ridiculously so outside - lows maybe in the teens - and the house was 59 degrees Sunday morning. This would have been fine had there been adequate comforters, blankets, etc, but there was nothing. Furniture downstairs was very faded and old looking. One of the bedrooms downstairs has no window at all which I do not think was noted anywhere. All in all - house itself is great but because of the no blankets, handkerchief-sized towels, and heat not working, our stay left a little to be desired.

Lots of space for a large group. We enjoyed West Jefferson. The grocery store is close as is the downtown with several restaurants. The house needs the same number of outdoor chairs as it sleeps. There are 3 chairs on deck and one on the upper deck.

The house has a beautiful view and is very conveniently located to West Jefferson, Grandfather Mountain, Boone and all that area has to offer. We love the wood interior and beautiful stone fireplae. The house is comfortable and well appointed.

The cabin was rustic and clean, with a spectacular view of the mountains. However, I was upset to arrive and find hundreds of dead centipedes on the front porch and both decks. The first thing I did was sweep all those locations. And while the cabin sleeps 10, there were only 4 exterior chairs for guests to relax and enjoy the view. A few blankets would have been appreciated. Otherwise, our short stay was lovely. Thank you.

Location is Great. Interior very nice. Generally clean.Notes on every light switch would be helpful. Exterior needs attention to cleaning off dead ants worms and (1) mouse, replace bags of sand (?), possible termite damage to a lower log on deck. Also time to refresh stain/paint. Additional outdoor seating would be nice. The additional living area is a huge plus! Great Rental. Thanks

picture perfect was a great house for our family. There’s plenty of rooms, great kitchen and fantastic view. The location is great as it’s not too far from downtown. I highly recommend staying there. We plan to go back.

This home was perfect for our girl’s trip weekend! We wanted beautiful views, and this home did not disappoint. We truly felt emersed in the mountains with the log cabin exterior and thoughtful interior décor. The home was clean, comfortable, and spacious and is only minutes from restaurants, shops, hiking and a winery. Aside from the stunning views, do not miss out on the steam shower in the primary bathroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home to others.

This periphery’s was spectacular. Beautiful mountain top views, convenient location to West Jefferson and Boone, and a beautiful and grand log cabin style interior. The home featured spacious living areas, three outdoor decks, a spacious kitchen, and five comfortable bedrooms.

The views were amazing, and the place was just like it was in the pictures. House it is in a cul-de-sac and very private. Lots of great views at the house and driving to it. The town of West Jefferson has a lot to offer as well as plenty things around to go do.

Just what we were looking for. A spacious, comfortable, beautiful and cozy place to enjoy friends. The house far exceeded everyone's expectations. Large kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies. Comfortable and relaxing seating area for all of us. Breath taking views!!!! Exceptional detail to everything. Property management responded well. Only downside we were responsible for getting rid of the trash. We had to wash linen prior to leaving.

We stayed at this house for a long weekend. We all bonded with the house--it's a beautiful house, made of logs and rounded stone, with a high ceiling and lots of space. We loved the fireplace! (Gas--we brought wood but didn't need to). The house is up on a mountainside and probably has a great view, but in February it was just foggy the whole time we were here. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen was well set up, and there is lots of communal space. The master bedroom shower is fantastic. We had a lovely weekend and decided that we would come back to this same house next week. My only gripe was that my messages through VRBO remained unanswered. I sent 5, trying to find out how you get into the house. You can call them, at the Carolina Mountain Properties, and they will tell you the code to get in, just before you arrive. They are perfectly nice, and helpful, but could use to communicate better.
