“We have a great night and this is our first glamping experience. Washroom and shower was not totally ready for the public but I understand that this place is still under construction. Wifi not able to reach to our Dome. View of this place is amazing. Looking forward to come back with fully equipped and all the construction is done.”

They went above and beyond knowing I was a young female solo traveller a long ways from home, owner gave me her number to check in with to make sure I made it back safe and sound that night since I was going so far away so late at night for an event! “This motel is a great location when traveling through Nova Scotia to or from the ferry to Newfoundland or visiting the Cabot Trail. There was minimal interaction with staff but check-in was quick and easy. The room was a bit musty when first entering but after having the windows open for a while it was much better. The beds were clean and very comfortable and the washroom was clean. The room had both a front door for entering and a back door to explore the back garden and go to the water....

“this is a first class, unique establishment. The motel is clean, rooms spacious, amenities as expected. Bed was comfy, shower had lots of hot water and pressure. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. They are expanding with dome glamping units!”

“We had a balcony with a gorgeous lake view. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. There’s no mini-fridge in the room. The location was ideal, right in the center of town with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The only downsides for us were that the bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked, and the curtains didn’t do a good job of blocking the sun after it rose at 5:30 am. We still recommend the inn and wish we’d had a chance to try their gluten-free restaurant, which wasn’t yet...

“The location is beautiful and the food and music was amazing. We stayed in cabin 15, the mattress needs to be replaced, rolled into the middle all night. There were a lot of bugs in the framing of the screens. Overall a good experience, just the cabins needs some TLC.”

“Front desk not always staffed but available for check in later in afternoon. Property isn’t fully open so no breakfast. Nice corner room with balcony but outside chairs were wet do’s couldn’t room. Big bathroom, everything was very clean. If in the area again with try something else.”
