Great stay!
This cabin stay was great! Cabin is beautiful, seemed brand new, and was very clean. There is a lovely big patio that we spent most of our time on! Lots of great hikes nearby. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Cabin
The cabin was beautiful and the cleanest place we have ever rented. Very well stocked, wonderful outdoor space. The host was very friendly, quickly responsive to any needs or questions. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back.

My wife and I liked the feeling of seclusion. The cabin was loaded with everything we needed. All we had to do is bring our food. We especially liked the firepit. We've never seen a fire pit incorporated into a deck. It was amazing! We slept like babies.

Great Weekend Getaway
My boyfriend planned this trip for me to have a relaxing birthday weekend. It was amazing; we never left the cabin! We would love to come back in the summer so we can enjoy the outside some more!

Little Slice of Heaven
This cabin was even more than we were expecting! It was clean, tidy, and well-stocked. It was a comfortable break from life while still being within decent driving distance of shops, hiking, and even Kentucky! And the property is beautiful. The owners were super friendly and communicated with us throughout, and the cupboards were stocked with utensils, plates, mugs, pots, etc., exactly as described. And the information about local sites and attractions provided by the owners was plentiful! I wish we could have stayed longer. I cannot recommend this cabin enough, we will be staying again in the future!

Best place to unwind
My husband and I wanted to get away from the rat race. This cabin was the answer to our prayers. The host was so attentive. He even salted our sidewalk! The cabin had so many unique antiques. Can’t say enough about the decor. We made use of the gas fireplace, since the weather was so cold. We like to cook. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including a crockpot. We have stayed at many cabins. This is one of the few that I hope to book again.

Great retreat
It was a great stay Very relaxing and the cabin was great. Very clean and cozy atmosphere. With the fireplace and anything you could need is already there for you. Will definitely be staying there again.

Clean and comfortable
This cabin is awesome. You walk in and it is clean. I mean deep down clean. Sparkling clean light fixtures. Kitchen was ready for making dinner. Stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The finishes in the kitchen and baths are very stylish including a glass framed shower and jetted tub. The covered deck out back was a nice feature especially coming back from a muddy hike to the lake. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are ready to book for our annual stay next Christmas break.

Thanksgiving Getaway
Our family decided to have a getaway for Thanksgiving weekend and the place was perfect for the 5 of us. The kitchen was a great size for prepping and serving a full Thanksgiving meal and the beadrooms were spacious and comfortable. We will definitely keep this cabin in mind for future weekend aways!

Cabin in the woods
The cabin is beautiful and well done. The living room was very nice and cozy with recliners, nice tv above the gas fireplace. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable and bathroom very nice. Everything you need to cook meals with, nice outdoor gas grill and table to sit outside and enjoy your meal. We saw a buck right outside on the trail behind the cabin, Red hooded woodpeckers everywhere. We enjoyed walking the trials in the woods down to the pond. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this cabin..There is plenty to do in the area or just stay in and relax. Thanks Jim for a beautiful place to stay.

Mother-daughter weekend
This place is exactly like the photos - serene and peaceful. We live in the city and we all have demanding jobs so this was perfect! We hiked to the pond and around it. Went to a recommended coffee shop. Stopped and had breakfast at Abby’s Place and went to the historical Serpent Mound before heading home. Walmart is 10 minutes away. The cabin is well stocked. Plenty of room for everyone. You will not be disappointed in booking a stay here.

Beautiful Cabin!
What a beautiful cabin!! We had a great weekend of relaxation! The cabin was decorated for fall and had everything we needed. The walk to the pond was not very far and there were tiny cricket frogs hopping everywhere! It was a beautiful weekend home away from home.

Quite and peaceful
Very nice appearance for the building and the property was secluded. Interior design was nice and spacious...fully stock was the word...comfortable kitchen where two of us could cook...soft beds...but not so soft it was unpleasant...just right. Overall the stay was awesome thanks for thi king about the details. Look forward to staying with you again

Perfect R&R vacation
We needed some time away from health issues and we found the perfect spot. The cabin was beautiful, just as pictured. We truly appreciate finding a place with comfortable furniture, especially recliners. The kitchen was as well stocked as my home kitchen, including paper towels and napkins. In fact, the whole cabin was very well stocked, including soap, shampoo, laundry soap, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and a few other staples, games, dvd’s, extra quilts and throws. Even though I’m allergic to most dogs and this is a pet friendly cabin I decided to try it because it looked very clean in the pictures. I’m so glad I did. No problems at all! The porches and decks were lovely and also had comfortable furniture. Being nestled among beautiful tall trees was nice, and watching the squirrels was entertaining. We especially appreciated our host providing information about local restaurants and spots of interest and getting back to us quickly when we asked a question. A perfect get away to reset and refresh. We hope to go back.

Beautiful Cabin
The owner was very responsive to our needs. The cabin was very nicely done. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have firewood readily available. I only found a couple of issues with our stay. The ceiling fan had a lot of dust in the living room, there was a infestation of fruit flies and a cat that loves to be on the property. I reported all of this to the owner and he assured me he would take care of it. He was able to run the cat off each time it came to the property. But all in all it is a lovely place to relax.

Beautiful cabin!
Jim was an amazing host and our stay here was awesome. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was clean, the kitchen was stocked and the family room was very comfortable with each of us having our own lazy boy seat, which we all loved. The beds were so comfortable too.The property is tranquil and private. One major plus for us was that our dogs were welcome...the toy basket was a very nice touch! We really appreciated the list of things to do and check out in the area. The Serpent Mound is a must see. We hiked BuzzardRoost trail and did get to see a couple of black vultures hanging out in the trees. It was so cool. We enjoyed our time here very much and would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Jim, you're so right about the glazed doughnuts at Yoders/Keims. They were delicious. Thank you for the heads up on that one. Thank you again for your hospitality.

A Great Vacation
The cabin is beautiful! The area is quiet and peaceful - just what we wanted... tucked away in the woods. We were impressed with how well the house was stocked with quality items. Any appliance you would want in a kitchen was there along with sharp kitchen knives which was great, not what we normally find when we VRBO. The fire pit and deck out back was great and wood was provided. There was a nice selection of games and we had fun enjoying those in the evenings. The owners were fantastic...a storm blew through one afternoon and they texted us to make sure we were ok. They also invited us for fireworks on the 4th at their place which is close by. They were wonderful! We all enjoyed our stay at the cabin.

Quick staycation
My husband and son and I wanted to get away for a quick fishing trip. The cabin was great, with a big deck and fire pit for the evening. Our favorite thing was fishing in the lake, we all caught a lot of fish. The lake was clean and there was plenty of sitting places. This was also a dog friendly property which we appreciated so we could enjoy our staycation with our four legged family member. Hosing couple were great as well! We will return!

I was traveling with my mom and sis. Right when we opened the door we were in awe with how absolutely beautiful and homey this cabin was. The deck was so cozy and comfy as well. I would definately not think twice about staying here again. Great great place! And the communication with the owner was excellent! Great get a way!
Loved the pond though it was a little hike to get there. Cabin was very comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. Well worth the money. Just a tip the Walmart does not sell any alcohol but had everything else. The Amish furniture store was amazing and the State park had good fishing, playground and a basketball court that kids will love.

A favorite place
This was our second stay in this cabin and we will be returning. It’s very clean and in good repair and has a very well-stocked kitchen with new pots, pans, dishes and tools one would expect. It rained for much of our stay, but the cabin is comfortable enough that it did not ruin our weekend in the country. We are getting to know the area, too, and really enjoyed meeting the folks at the Green Beanery in Peebles, as well as the House of Phacops, which is a unique place to visit in all of Ohio. Thanks for another great weekend!

Overall good
There are two things that we would have liked to see for this property. The first thing that could be improved about this location is that it came with almost nothing in the kitchen. The fridge was empty and most of the supplies you might expect (cooking spray, aluminum foil, etc.) weren't there. The second was that the grass clearly hadn't been cut in a while and the trails were a little cluttered, meaning that there were a great deal of bugs around and the trails themselves were occasionally difficult to navigate. Beyond that, we loved this place and are already making plans to return. It's quiet, but not too terribly far from civilization. The house is cozy and perfect for couples or small groups. B

Very beautiful and lots of room for a family, the place was literally spotless, which is a big plus. Did enjoy going to the Amish bakeries. The deck was so perfect, had a gas grill which we totally used. Very relaxing and peaceful. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us.
