Sandtrap is located less than half mile to private beach in historic Hyannis Park! This fully renovated Cape Ranch style home has all of the amenities you will need for a perfect Cape Cod vacation! Beaches, Marina, Ferry Terminals, Golfing, Downtown Shopping, Restaurants all within minutes away. Play mini golf and have an ice cream at Putter's Paradise just 50 yards away after a day of fun in the sun at the beach. Jump on the Ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard for a day trip! Or, get on a fishing charter, go whale watching, kayak on Bass River or one of our many other launchings, bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and you won't want to miss out on a harbor cruise and see the Kennedy Compound as well as other famous homes along the Hyannis Port Harbor. Venture down to Truro Winery and Provincetown to take in more of our treasured National Seashore and wonderful boutique shopping!

Our stay at Sandtrap was absolutely perfect for our family of six and made our first trip to Cape Cod truly memorable! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so thoughtfully appointed—it immediately felt welcoming and comfortable.Mary is a fantastic host—quick to respond, warm, and full of excellent recommendations for things to see and do around the Cape. Her local insights really enhanced our trip!The kitchen was well-equipped, which made dining in easy and enjoyable. We especially loved the backyard and deck, where we shared several meals in the fresh Cape air. The provided beach gear was a thoughtful bonus and came in handy for our relaxing afternoon at a nearby beach.The location was ideal for exploring—easy drives to Chatham, Dennis, Provincetown, and just minutes from the Hyannisport ferry, where we caught a boat for a wonderful day on Martha’s Vineyard.Sandtrap was everything we hoped for and more—clean, charming, and convenient. We are so grateful for Mary’s hospitality and are already looking forward to returning. A wonderful place to experience summertime on the Cape!

We had a fabulous stay at Sandtrap. The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed. Communication with our host Mary was good. Location is ideal for exploring Cape Cod, islands and the local beach. Trips to Nantucket and Marthers Vineyard were easy , as was a very successful whale watching trip. Great stay , thank you Mary for making Sandtrap available to us.

Sandtrap was amazing . Cosy comfortable cottage with everything you could possibly need.great location for beaches and ferries to Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard. Mary has decorated so lovely, both inside and outside in the garden. I would definitely go back to Sandtrap.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Sandtrap. The home was meticulous and beautifully decorated. The host lives next door and was very responsive to any questions we had. There were written instructions throughout the house to avoid any confusion. I’d highly recommend the Sandtrap!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Sandtrap! It is perfectly located a short walk to the beach, putt putt, and a short drive away from restaurants, other towns, with plenty to do/explore. We had so much fun for the weekend staying here- it is a beautiful home that is very cozy and lots of space! Mary is so delightful and quick to respond and provided all the information and support we needed before, during, and after our stay. Would recommend this property to any family looking for a vacation home in Cape Cod!

Mary’s house was a wonderful and spacious option for us and our little one this summer. We were close to everything we wanted to do in Chatham, Harwich, and Dennis, as well as a 5 minute drive from the ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Mary also shared out some local spots that we hadn’t been to before, and enhanced our trip. Having come up to the Cape every summer for nearly a decade now, I can say that Mary’s place is one of the best spots we’ve found (and the beds are super comfortable, too!). We hope to return again next year.

Mary was a wonderful host! She was responsive and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was in a great location to venture out to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard and was a quick ride to Chatham and Provincetown. Also, the beach down the road was gorgeous and convenient. This was a very clean and cute place to stay. It is very comfortable and has everything you would need or want from everything in the kitchen if you want to cook in or have a cookout to everything in the bathroom that you would need. Very quiet neighborhood. The owner is very friendly and very helpful with information for the area and for Martha’s Vineyard. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Sand Trap is a beautiful, well appointed and convenient home for your Cape Cod visit! The interior was bright, colorful and so clean! So many thoughtful amenities - beach chairs, beach cooler, well stocked kitchen - you name it- Mary thought of it! We had the most wonderful time with our adult children and their girlfriends. Convenient to The ferry and downtown Hyannis!! We will be back!! Mary was very responsive as well with lots a local recommendations.

The Sandtrap was a perfect home away from home for us during our son’s baseball tournament. From the moment we walked in the door we felt so relaxed and comfortable. The Sandtrap is beautifully decorated, immaculate, and has all of the comforts of home and much more. We loved the local mini golf and ice cream right up the road and the central location close to Hyannis Main Street and many local beaches. Mary was a wonderful host and truely thought of everything. We look forward to a return visit!

We booked Sandtrap for our annual Cape Cod family vacation for the week of July 4th. The house was great and clean and spacious for 4 adults (2 full bathrooms were a plus since we are used to sharing 1 full bathroom and an outdoor shower). Mary was easy to communicate with if there was a question. She lives in a small separate cottage on the same property but we never crossed paths. The house had everything you would need inside and out and even for the beach (beach towels, chairs, coolers). The location was perfect. We tend to like to venture all over the Cape when we are there so the house was literally right around the corner from rte. 28. It’s about a 3/4 mile walk to the end of the dead end street which brings you to a small beach. We had zero issues or complaints while staying here and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you, Mary, for a memorable stay!

Sand trap was a great location, nicely updated and clean. 15 min walk to the beach, and easily can walk to restaurants (ice cream and mini golf a min walk away). Mary was very responsive, and she stays on the property. We had two adult couples, setup was okay but the second bed is a tight squeeze (would be harder for older adults to get in and out). Great set up for kids though. Decor is nice but lots of breakables and notes, just had to be careful.

First, the host, Mary, is incredibly friendly, detail oriented, and very responsive! There were notes and thoughtful touches throughout the house. Instructions very clear and easy to follow. Questions answered quickly! As for the house, it was clean and our small group loved the color scheme and decorative accents. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glassware, keurig and brew coffee pot, etc. The location on the mid cape area made it easy to get to the ferry for Martha’s Vineyard and the dock for a whale watching excursion. A drive to the Outer Cape to Nauset, Truro Vineyard, and Provincetown was an easily doable day trip from the house. Thanks Mary for a great stay for our girlfriend getaway!

Well stocked kitchen in both appliances and supplies. Everything for the beach - chairs and towels which we might have used had there not been a hurricane. Lovely main bathroom with roomy shower (one of three). Easy to check in and out. Everything wee needed was there. After a steamy week in New York we could have used a washing machine. Three of us had a lovely time.

Great location for ferries, restaurants and local points of interest. This house is so cute, cozy and well-appointed you don't really need to go anywhere else to have a relaxing vacation. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay welcoming and enjoyable. The travel brochures were informative to see what is available in the area. We were only there 4 days/nights and were busy with trips to Nantucket and Provincetown, kayaking on the Bass River and enjoying the nearby beach. It was also fun to walk over to the mini golf course, play a round and have their fabulous ice cream concoctions. Treat yourself to the ice cream in the mason jar!
