“The caretaker Paul didnt know we were coming and initially was more interested in his amazon parcels, told us the owner books people and dosent tell him (happens all the time) id booked one double and one single with 3 beds on the same floor - I got one double with single beds in the attic and my children the 3 bed a floor below us. The b&b had hostel vibes from the start. There were smashed windows, dirty bathrooms without locks, pubes on the toilet roll and bottles stashed behind the was hand...

“The common areas of the hotel is tired and not the best and the rooms dated. I had an issue with the heating that meant I had to go to the reception to "try and have fixed". They kept saying they had reset the system, however, it didn't work and as the phone in the room didn't dial through to the reception, it was freezing in the night.
I would not stay there again.”
