B&B a Western Maryland

“We had a girls night here. Everything was excellent. It was a beautiful facility. It has lots of charming character. You feel like you have simply left home and went to stay at your grandmother's house, which is a very good thing In my book I felt right at home. When we arrived there were snacks and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies water The owner was very accommodating and pleasant. Everything was great. Food and accommodations highly recommend. Definitely plan to go back”

“Enjoyed the stay on our road trip. Would recommend”

“Really welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.”

“Loved this property! Quaint and clean. House cats were my favorite feature. They were living and sweet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Heidi!”

“Our son is at Frostburg State. The Allegheny Trail house will be our place to stay whenever we plan to visit our son. This place is unique and lovely to stay at. Friendly and attentive staff.”

“A wonderful visit where every detail by management and staff was considered. We loved the delicious breakfast and the “gemütlich” common room. We look forward to returning.”

“Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, great location and delicious breakfasts.”

“We loved the spot and will be back!”

“The property is beautiful.I can only imagine how nice it will be after the renovations are complete. Lovely porch to sit on and watch the rain. Lovely private bath with beautiful clawfoot tub. I met my cousin here. It was half way between Pittsburgh and DC. We picked a bad few days, in that everything is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. That gave us a lot of quiet time to relax”

“Loved the place. Quiet neighborhood. The bed was comfy, the shower perfect. Clean room. Beautiful backyard and outdoor area. Nice dog met us, we never met any staff but the dog was great.”

“The place is absolutely beautiful. The setting is perfect. The staff was kind and helpful. Here are a few little things that would have made it a perfect experience. The breakfast on both days was original and interesting. However, it was supposed to be hot not like warm. Outside of our room by the water station was a tray of dirty cups that was there untouched for three days. It may seem petty but our bathroom had only a single roll of TP that was almost used up. The mentioned complementary...

“Very nice with adjacent winery!”

“very nice bed and breakfast. Historic building in town in which you can walk to enjoy the town and all it's offerings. Gettysburg has so much history was nice to stay in town and enjoy it. Enjoyed our room and fellow guests. Friendly staff and excellent service. Call about Parking before you check in, in town so there is a daily fee.”

“This place is lovely-rooms, grounds, furnishings. It was awkward to have the host say a lengthy blessing before breakfast. Seemed presumptuous that a group of strangers would appreciate the exposure to a host’s personal religious practice. Giving the guests a perfunctory “ do you mind?” doesn’t make it OK.”

“I am writing this review based on Room 3. We were very disappointed with the room for many reasons, so much so, we checked out after one night with no expectation of a credit for the unused night. The room and bath are very dated, the bathroom shower curtain is held up with PVC, the toiletries were minimal, the bed creaked with the slightest movement keeping both myself and spouse awake most of the night, the furniture is mismatched and dated, the freezer was frosted over, the coffee was an open...

“Clean quiet and nicely located to many things.”

“Perfect experience in Waynesboro! Staff exceptional and helpful!”
