“Booked a 1 night stay over in York on our way to Pendle, we had room 3 on the lower level. Getting a large suitcase down the 2 flights of stairs is a bit of a challenge but the room itself was well equipped, clean, lovely powerful shower, comfy bed and coffee making facilities. Perfect for what we wanted Check in was available when we turned up early which was a nice surprise. Very quiet with it being tucked away between shops.”

“Bellissima casa in stile vittoriano, sicuramente non per gli amanti della modernità ma per chi adora calarsi nelle atmosfere vintage. La colazione, tipicamente inglese, nel suo genere è ottima. Il centro città può essere raggiunto facilmente a piedi, ma non manca la fermata del bus nelle vicinanze . Mi mancava solo Miss Marple!”

“Struttura tipica e caratteristica del posto, architettura e giardino piacevole, MA personale scortesissimo, abbiamo dovuto passare la prima notte fuori dall albergo per aver ffatto mezz ora di ritardo dal tempo massimo del check in, camera eccessivamente piccola e nella sala colazione siamo stati cambiati di posto, rispetto a quello prescelto, nonostante in struttura eravamo gli unici.”

“Great selection for breakfast and very tasty. Comfy bed. It was market day (Wednesday) so traffic was really busy, we was having trouble finding somewhere to park, I telephoned the hotel and asked if it was okay to park early, they said yes and also I asked if we could park beyond our checkout time and they said yes. So stress free excellent service and experience 👍”
