Great Spot

Whistler Peak Lodge was in a great location, close to the lifts, village stroll and Market Place shops and restaurants a short walk away as well. Highly recommend.

This facility was not what we expected. The hallways were dirty and crowed and we encountered so many drunk guests that we harassing us. The hot tub was tiny, crowded, and messy. The second bed was so uncomfortable that we left before our second night.

Great location, a bit tired but still great value for money

Great location close to both mountain lifts and right in the village. Front desk staff were super friendly. We liked the front desk ski concierge service. The room itself was clean and we very much appreciated having a small kitchen. The microwave was supposed to be a convection oven as well but was not. Kitchen supplies allowed for basic cooking only. Filters for the coffee maker would have been appreciated so we wouldn't have to buy a pack of 50. The bed was too soft and the appartment although clean was getting a bit tired. For what it offers, it is still great value for money.

Strict Cancellation policy & no empathy.

We really loved the Whistler Peak Lodge while staying there years ago so we booked again this October. Unfortunately we had emergency road trouble this time and almost lost our lives. We couldn’t stay our second day because of this tragedy. We tried to speak to a manager about cancelling the second day and getting a refund as we are both retired seniors on a fixed income. The manager had no empathy for our situation and would not help us. The lodge could have rebooked our suite as there were full. We checked with all the booking agents and there was no availability at this lodge on the day we couldn’t stay.

Not bad, not fantastic

For the price in Whistler it was ok. Walls and doors are paper thin, thank goodness we didn’t have a screaming baby or partyers near us! Bed was too soft, coffee mugs in cupboard were not clean, still had a coffee ring stain on the inside, towels rather thin and scratchy. Not bad, other than that.

We loved the suite, but...

The fireplace was wonderful, the room / the beds spacious, everything was fine. Everything, apart from a few things in the kitchenette. Who on earth installed this huge microwave? It was not even possible to open the door of the mw, because there was not enough space against the wall. And the cupboards door hit the mw door knob as well... If, by chance, we will return to Whistler, the Peak Lodge will be our first choice. Greetings from Germany, Rainer F.

Great place to stay in Whistler

No hassle check-in / check-out. Everything was as promised. Convenient, central location close to shops and restaurants. Close to free public overnight parking (ski parking lots 1-5) With-in walking distance of the Whistler and Blackcomb lift system.
