The Space:
Jet Cottage @ Spawell is a modern house with everything you need for a short break. The house is split across three floors.

The open plan living, kitchen and dining area are located on the top floor. This space is perfect for social dining and relaxing after a day of exploration. The living area comfortably seats four guests across the two fabric sofas and you can enjoy views out across the treetops.

The multi colour dining chairs are neatly tucked under the wooden dining table, from here you can enjoy home cooked meals or foodie treats bought from the local area.

The kitchen is modern, clean and well equipped. Jet Cottage @ Spa Well has everything you could need for your stay including a kettle, toaster, oven, fridge, microwave. With the added benefit of a washing machine, the house is perfect for a longer stay.

The main bedroom is relaxing and homely with a calming, neutral colour palette. You’ll drift off into a peaceful slumber in the comfy king-size bed. With ample storage, Jet Cottage @ Spa Well caters perfectly for families. You’ll also find an ensuite with a shower, WC and wash basin in this room.

The second bedroom has the same comforting feel as the main bedroom and features a cosy colour scheme. The room is complete with a comfortable double bed, as well as a wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps.

The third bedroom is simple and chic with a single bed, ideal for children and teenagers.

The modern family bathroom is complete with a bath, overhead shower, a wash basin and a WC.

You can enjoy the fresh sea air from the private decking area at the rear of the property.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

There is one private parking space available to guests staying at Jet Cottage @ Spa Well.

The Neighborhood:
Set on the West side of Whitby, Jet Cottage @ Spa Well is just a short 5-minute walk into the centre of town. Head to Pier Road and you’ll find cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants. Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll notice the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk.

Over the bridge, you’ll find yourself on the East bank which is full of narrow mediaeval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.

Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.

Getting Around:
Only a short walk from Whitby’s central Flowergate, Jet Cottage @ Spa Well is perfectly located for those looking to explore Whitby.

Whitby train station is a short walk away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
