Lake-front lodging- Fisherman's Cove at the Blue Heron Retreat

Fisherman's Cove is one of 4 rentals at the Blue Heron Retreat and is located on the lower level of the main lodge. It's a lake lovers' dream with sunrise views from your private patio and yard space. Includes a full kitchen with dining table, a full bath with a combination tub and shower as well as washer and dryer. One bedroom includes 2 double beds, a second bedroom hosts one double bed, and the living room has a pull-out sofa.
With over 200 footage of sandy beach The Blue Heron Retreat allows you and your guests to splash, play and relax. Venture out further into the lake for fishing, kayaking, boating or catching the sunset. Enjoy time in Blue Heron Retreat's shared spaces, including the Grotto, and campfire areas, or relax in the spa as you take in the views of spring-fed, clear Diamond Lake. The property sits on the terraced hill. There are 4 levels with stairs and a stair lift was added in 2024 for 2 sets of stairs for those who need it. Owners live on the property, however keep to themselves, while also keeping the grounds & hot tubs maintained.

This lake-front vacation rental beauty is available late May through end of September.

Listing doesn't say there's alot of steps. We would of never booked for that reason. Also didn't say the area is a shared area with other people. Not enough blankets etc. Best part was the hot tub.

The host, Christine, was great. She takes pride in all the hard work she’s out into making it their perfect getaway, and it did not disappoint. The house was equipped with everything you need. GREAT property, perfect location for a relaxing break from reality. Brought our 2 Goldens and they absolutely LOVED all the outdoors accessibility.
