Vacanze White Cloud

We were at the property for two nights. When we got our room it didn’t appear that the a/c was working very well. I turned it down as we like a cold room as we sleep. I could tell it wasn’t getting any cooler but it was late at night so we stayed in the room until morning. When we got up I went down to the front desk and explained the situation. The person at the front desk suggested something I could try to see if the issue could be resolved. I did what he said and we left for a couple hours. Came back and it still wasn’t working right. So I went back to the front desk and requested another room for the second night and they cheerfully helped get us into another room. Besides the a/c issue the place was great. Rooms were clean. The property was well kept. The breakfast was above average.

Lobby was clean, free from clutter. Staff were very accommodating. Rooms were genuinely clean, complete with vacuum vacuuming. The perfect hotel for anybody over 6 feet tall. I did not have to take a shower on my knees. Bed was very comfortable. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is the parking lot in the rear, where all the trucks park, needs to be repaved. Outside of that, it was an excellent hotel.

My room room 416. The air condition was broke. It made a very loud noise when you turned it on it was competing with the volume of the TV. An unbearable sound no sleep all through the night. The phone in the room didn’t work. You could not contact maintenance are the downstairs staff concerning I was not happy with the Stay in room 416. I tried to reach out to management. I only got a recording.

Please do yourself a favor to save time and your hard earned money. Review all of lowest star ratings first BEFORE YOU BOOK. Read the ratings on more than one site. I ignored the lowest ratings because I thought they were fake, until I stayed at the Stoney Creek hotel in Kansas City, Independence, MO. Many of the lowest ratings I read AFTER our horrible stay lined up with a lot of our same issues. I wish I would have read the low ratings more through BEFORE WE BOOKED. Our stay was miserable, expensive and frustrating. We booked a suite. $268.00. The place was filthy. The place is in need of a complete makeover, it is outdated and run down. The refrigerator wasn't turned on and when we finally got it turned on, the refrigerator only stayed at a 50 degree temperature. We had dried FECAL matter under the toilet seat, the toilet bowl & rim. They was hair on the bed linens, flat as a pancake pillows, hairs on the floor, ants and silverfish, dead and alive on the coffee bar with built up heavy dust. There were no lids for any of the travel coffee paper cups. No half n half. Obviously, no cleaning personnel bother to move the coffee machine a mere few inches to clean behind it. Put it this way, the cleaning crew do not bother to clean anything....The large jetted tub had built up black scum in the jets and was filthy. The best part of it all, as if what I already described wasn't enough...there was NO water in the shower suitable or warm enough for a shower.
