“Clean, comfortable and relaxing”

“Hotel was a little dated, our room was nice but the bathroom needs updating. The room must not have been used for a while (4th floor Rm 405) when we turned on the water in the sink, it gurgled and came out black... It turned to clear water after a couple of seconds... Not a good way to start, but the room was nice, bed was comfortable.”

“Best Western at Hunt's Landing in Matamoras Pennsylvania is located at a very convenient spot to major highways and County roads. The hotel is very well maintained with two restaurants within the property which offer high end and casual dining. The rooms were comfortable and clean with only minor maintenance required in the room for one or two items. There is a complimentary breakfast which was very nicely presented and tasty. “Room was clean, but property as a whole is in need of a facelift. Pillows are ancient, yet mattress seems reasonable… breakfast very limited but in a clean dining area… bar seems to be in the old-school sports bar-with-character style. And Liberty itself has seen better days too. Overall, a peculiar mix of fine and “needs improvement”, but probably the best hotel in the immediate area.”
