“I absolutely loved Dowd's Country Inn! The Inn is lovingly maintained - inside and out. My room was beautifully furnished, with soft lighting, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Breakfast is made-to-order and included in the reasonable lodging fee. The spacious common areas brimmed with character. Duncan Dowd went the extra mile in providing attentive hospitality and service. Being located right on the lovely Lyme Town Green, adds even more interest and charm. I will definitely look...

“Tutto perfetto tranne la prenotazione.ci hanno assegnato una camera diversa da quella che avevamo prenotato e inoltre abbiamo scoperto che le descrizioni Delle camere sul sito non corrispondono alla realtà (la camera che avevamo prenotato doveva avere vasca da bagno e vista montagne e non era così). Lo staff però è stato super disponibile e hanno rimediato regalandoci una bottiglia di champagne e dandoci una camera di livelli superiore.”

“Wow! The Jackson is a gem. Such a peaceful, beautifully maintained, classic Vermont Inn. Both the Inn and the town of Woodstock brim with charm. The sitting parlors are inviting. My room on the 2nd floor was cozy. And the bed was awesome. Breakfast is not included in the lodging fee but was well worth the experience. And the grounds...! Make the most of your time at the Jackson to stroll the lovely, spacious lawn & gardens behind the Inn. I enjoyed a brief, morning, quiet-time...
