Ritiro selvaggio e scenico del fiume a testa piatta

Dopo aver trascorso una giornata a Glacier Park, torna a una piacevole serata rilassante sotto il portico che si affaccia sul fiume Flathead. Barbecue, marshmallow arrosto sulla spiaggia, dormire sotto le stelle ascoltando "il flusso del fiume".
Oche selvatiche, anatre e aquile volano ogni giorno.

Questa bellissima proprietà in affitto si trova a 10 minuti da Glacier Park, a 20 min. per l'aeroporto, 25 minuti a coregone, 30 min. a Kalispell - un'ottima posizione. C'è un ampio parcheggio. Pulito e accogliente con vista sul fiume e sulla Great Northern Mountain
A pochi passi si trovano ristoranti, negozi di articoli da regalo, una taverna locale, parrucchieri, antiquariato e negozio di alimentari.
Pesce direttamente sul retro, niente come trota fresca per cena!
Se ti piace pescare e hai bisogno di aiuto, chiedici, sappiamo tutto sulla pesca.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist schon ein wenig in die Jahre und hätte sauberer sein können. Der Blick mit der Hängematte auf den Fluß war klasse.

Great Location!

We'd rate the location a 5* for convenience to the park and quiet, restful space when we got home. Although the space was well equipped with all the things needed (plenty of dishes, towels, etc), it all was very dated and a bit beat up. That being said, everything worked, Jill, the host, was very responsive, and we absolutely loved being located right on the river.

Stay on the river

The location was great but you are staying beneath their house with a stairwell that connects inside, that you can’t lock. The day we were supposed to checkout the host came through the stairwell and woke up my friend telling her we needed to be out as soon as possible even though checkout time wasn’t for two hours. Our car wasn’t in the driveway so I wonder if he thought no one was going to be down there.

Book it!

A fantastic experience all around! Wonderful views, friendly owners and the perfect place to rest after long days of adventure. We were extremely grateful for the bear spray as that stuff is quite spendy. Luckily, we didn't have to use it :) Thank you so much Randy and Jill!

Well positioned location for Glacier National Park

It took me a while to rationally review this location since my dog died while I was there. His death had nothing to do with the property but it did skew my opinion of it for a while. It is a lovely location with a river right next to it and nothing but woods around. I'd definitely advise staying there and swimming in the river during spring/summer. It' s very close to the glacier national park entrance. Only downside is the cleanliness in the bathrooms. We had a little mildew around the shower and gunk around the toilet. Other than that it was an extremely pleasant stay. Just keep your pupper on leash while you're there so they don't get into anything.

Beautiful location, but unit not clean

We had a couple major concerns with out stay at this location. First of all, the unit was not clean: there was dog hair all over the bed and pillows! Walking around in white socks, the bottom of my socks got very dirty. Also, I went out to get breakfast one day, and the owner thought my wife went along as well, but did not. The owner came down an inside stairway that led to living area and was startled to see my wife sitting there. Why was she coming into the unit we rented while she thought we were out for the day? This was very concerning to my wife. There were several places we stayed during this trip that we would go back to stay again, but not this one.

Great location

This location by the river is wonderful, just like the pictures. The unit is rustic and cozy. The heat works really well. Nice linens and ample towels. Bring your favorite spices if you plan on cooking. Salt and pepper was provided. Jill is very accommodating and helpful. Very close to the West entrance of GNP. On my visit there was one drip and one pod coffee maker.

Beautiful location

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s an absolutely beautiful property and was the perfect location for our much needed vacation. We spent a full week and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Jill and Randy were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed being close to GNP while also having options for dining in Hungry Horse and a short distance from Columbia Falls but also the feeling of being out in nature in quiet atmosphere. Would highly recommend this listing for a couple looking for outdoor adventures and R&R.

Beautiful River Retreat

This is the second summer we have come and enjoyed this beautiful property. We stay for a month. Can't say enough good things about Randy and Jill, the owners. They treat us like family. We have 2 golden retrievers that are woth us amd they LOVE swimming in the river. We fish for trout there as well. Conveniently located to everything (Glacier, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, golf, etc). Love it. Coming back again next year.

Peaceful Retreat

Hungry Horse was outstanding. The accommodation were clean, comfortable and private. On-site parking was an added bonus. The patio sits overlooking the Flathead River with water access. The location is convenient to the West Glacier entrance. Restaurants were nearby and were very good. The hosts thought of everything including sandwich bags to hold our sandwiches for our hikes in Glacier. They gave us great advice and suggestions.

Flathead River Retreat

Jill and Randy's property is on the Flathead River. It is a super clear, slow moving river and it made for the perfect location to relax after hiking in Glacier National Park. Our dog stayed with us at the property and he enjoyed having access to lower seating area next to the river. Jill and Randy are great hosts.

Cancel at the last minute

The evening I drove into Glacier National Park (Hungry Horse), I had just parked in front of the property and was walking up to the door to enter when I got a vrbo message from the host canceling on me at the last moment. I had my dog with me and no where to go that night. I received instructions on address, how to enter the property, check in/check out procedures only to be left out in the cold at the last minute. VRBO offered to put me up in a hotel for one night, but I had a $100 dollars worth of groceries for the week that would have gone to waste as no hotel in the area would take a dog nor had a refrigerator. To say that I was upset would be a huge understatement. I had to drive another full hour and 1/2 just to find someone who would take us. This host was completely irresponsible despite prior ratings.

Perfect Location for Glacier National Park

Quiet town with easy access to Glacier National Park as well as Whitefish. Several places to choose from for dining out in the area. Beautiful view of Flathead River.
