The Twila welcomes you to the traditional Montana lifestyle of grand views of the Rocky Mountains, high plains and big skies, all from Twila's interior. A fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and impressive loft shows off it's character and charm, and that's only the beginning...
Twila has a full kitchen with all the cooking essentials, spice rack, coffee and BUNN coffee maker, a washing machine and dryer, blackout curtains for the huge picture windows, built in AC, full heating, dishwasher, and refrigerator with ice machine. The Twila sits on 6 private acres, with private driveway. The wraparound deck and huge picture windows boasts the perfect place to take in the most gorgeous of sunrises and sunsets. The gas grill and outdoor dining furniture makes it easy to take your morning coffee or home cooked dinner on the deck all the while experiencing Montana's surrounding Big Sky mountain views. The handbuilt fire pit with permanent benches and seating allows for world class star gazing around the campfire. Spacious, peaceful and breathtaking, The Twila is a unique, beautiful, one of a kind structure and experience. You might even catch a cattle drive! We keep your convenience and enjoyment in mind by also providing coffee, coffee creamer and sugar, extra hygiene amenities, wifi, hairdryer, laundry and dish soap, stoneware sets, and campfire wood and roasting sticks for the outdoor fire pit. Restaurants, bars and other attractions are within walking distance and recommendations and directions are happily provided and suggested!

This property was in a beautiful location. Perfect distance from Bozeman and Butte. We were attending a wedding at the Copper K Barn. I needed to request photos of the bathroom since they were not on the listing. The response was prompt. Gretchen was great. She even shared drink tokens for Two Bits with us. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place! We were there for a wedding in the area and the location was great. Finding it was a little confusing but we figured it out. May want to post the check out list some place, I had printed them ahead of time so knew what you wanted. All in all a wonderful experience. Thank you.

This was a wonderful place to stay with large windows on every side of the house framing gorgeous views of Montana's distant hills, delightfully organized and decorated with a fine eye for beauty and spaciousness. Our host Gretchen was quick to respond to any inquiries, and she provided many helpful amenities to make us feel welcome. As a family that stays in multiple rentals during the year, this is one of the few to which we would love to return.

We loved staying at Gretchen’s place. We stayed 2 nights and toured the Lewis and Clark caverns. The house had everything we needed. The kids had fun playing outside. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. We appreciated the welcome note and gift from Gretchen!

Every need was considered. Gretchen was so friendly and checked to see if there was anything we needed or wanted. We make a couple trips a year to Whitehall and will be staying at there

Best Stay Ever

By Far this was My Best Stay Ever in Montana. Gretchen the host was the most caring, responsive, helpful host I have ever booked with on VRBO. She gave good ideas for activities and places to go. Provided us with fishing gear when i said we love to fish, came over one evening and gave my kids a football so we could play in the yard. We all wish we could have stayed longer. I definitely did not get enough photos of the place to do it justice and words can not describe the memories me and my kids will have of this place for a lifetime.

We checked in and the house was perfect. We all fit, it was clean and comfortable. It had great indoor and outdoor spaces. Unfortunately, we were busy most the time and didnt utalize all it had to offer. We would stay there again!
