“I needed a one night stay before my flight. Although not an ensuite i had a bathroom along the corridor to myself. Host was very friendly and informative, helped with all my airport access questions. Excellent value for money, and only an 8 minute flat walk away from the airport. Yes some bits are a bit tired, but for the price paid excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again when flying from Newcastle Airport. ”

“The staff were very welcoming - helped bring up luggage. Very knowledgable about the local area. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious - very happy we picked this hotel for our 1 night stop. Would def. go back again.”

“We arrived on the train. Hotel is 10-15 minutes walk maximum. Taxis are £7-&£9 from station to hotel (Aug 25). Rooms are clean, spacious and there is a well equipped kitchen. Breakfast has a good choice from cheese/meats, pastries& bread rolls, cereals, fruit,yoghurt & cooked option. Hot drinks are available in the lounge area 24/7. “Fantastic stay. Stayed for a wedding. Staff really welcoming and friendly throughout. Slightly difficult to find our room, but was lovely when we got into it. We struggled to keep the room cool, but we loved the big bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic too. Scenery amazing. Would definitely stay again”

“We had a lovely stay at the Dakota. We were greeted at the door by 2 staff members who were lovely and showed us to reception. Reception staff were lovely and friendly, engaged in conversation asking about our day. Wished me a Happy Birthday and our room was ready early, so was able to check in a good couple of hours earlier. Room was nice and spacious, clean and we could monitor the air con. Our overall stay was amazing and would definately reccomend. We didnt go in tbe restaurant/bar or stayed...

“We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys.
