"Staff were absolutely phenomenal all round. Rooms were super clean and beautifully presented. Pool sauna steam room and gym were all great. Would definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to coming back one day."

"Since it is a historic building there’s no control over temperature or any kind of air flow in the rooms without opening a window. Ceiling fans or some kind of thermostat would be helpful. But otherwise the property is spectacular and the staff very helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast as well!"

"Hotel bello, in stile retrò/marino. Posizione magnifica vicino alla spiaggia di Ayr. La nostra camera (4persone) era divisa in due stanze ricavate in un cortile di servizio. Stanza principale confortevole ma un po’ umida, l’altra fredda e con un divano letto non troppo comodo."

"Very clean and cosy. Country cottage style with plenty of comfortable chairs and reading "nooks". The beds were good. Great that there was a dishwasher. Quite a steep walk up from the shore hut the views on the way down were tremendous and the cafe bar "Salt and Thistle" was great for coffees, drinks ..."
