Hotel vicino a Whitsome Ark - Duns

“Lovely welcome. Great food in the evening. Comfy bed and quirky clean room with fluffy white towels. Superb breakfast. Highly recommend this historical inn. Thank you.”

“Such a lovely quiet area , the garden area on good day is great to sit out in , breakfast is really good too”

“Very friendly welcome, nice clean room. Ammazzinggg breakfast so good and not greasy. Evening meals very tasty. Have stayed a few times and it never fails to disappoint. .”

“We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future.”

“Ottima posizione, struttura carina, camera grande, bagno un po piccolino ma con tutti il necessario. Buona colazione”

“Absolutely lovely place! I’ve wanted to go here for a while for the pods with hot tubs and it did not disappoint! POD was very spacious, a super king bed was amazing! Very modern and comfortable. The hotel itself is really nice and in lovely grounds. We only had breakfast but it was also very good. We are looking forward to coming back!”

“Camera ampia e comoda con vista mare e parcheggio gratuito di fronte. Colazione buona ma non eccezionale. Immobile un po da ristrutturare esternamente e nella scala interna. La camera invece rimodernata.”

“It was fine for an overnight stay. However we both found the beds very uncomfortable. Nice enough bar and friendly locals.”

“Great location on the park, quiet area but only 3 mins walk to the main centre. Really well looked after / we would certainly return.”

“I was in Rm 4, a small twin with ensuite. The window opened (hood) but unfortunately, right onto the alley where the cooking fan vented. It was quite loud but did stop before bedtime. Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. I was later told by a customer that you could order half portions of the main menu items. I didn’t realize this and would have done so. Good drafts on tap, staff were friendly but the room...

“The property was good, upside down property, set in a lovely harbour town. Locals friendly. Amazing ice cream shop. The attached fish and chip shop was very busy too. Parking was roadside, not guaranteed, opposite the property. We arrived at the end of the Herring Queen Festival, which was packed out. We struggled to even unload, but obviously that wasn't something we knew about prior to booking. After that had finished, parking wasn't really a problem. A few niggles with property but it didn't...

“Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with a good selection and very good at catering for a gluten free diet. Good location for visiting the surrounding area especially Holy Island.”

“great place, super food, wonderful selection of beer and polite and friendly staff.”
