“A luxury cottage that is an ideal family retreat. A short drive down to Sauble made beach days with family and friends easily accessible. Evenings were spent preparing meals in a well appointed kitchen and enjoying the deck and the campfire pit. The home is perfect for large families with comfortable beds and all the mod cons for a carefree and comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was quick and easy.”

“Fantastic home, wonderfully appointed, perfect location, and all the amenities necessary for a dream cottage stay. Comfortably fit 9 adults and 2 dogs. Our only wish was that we had more time to stay at this beautiful cottage. Thank you!”

“Our stay was lovely. The bedrooms were a lot bigger than I had thought and everything was so clean up on arrival. The yoga room was beautiful and accommodated everyone nicely. Th land around the property was vast and the trees kept noise to a minimum. You can't even see the neighbors. Any questions or incidents the host took care of right away. She was very attentive. I would advise bringing your own large pots, the essentials are there there but if you're making pasta for 20 you'll need a few...

“This was the perfect place for my family to use as a home base while we were staying in Port Elgin. The home was spotless, and had absolutely everything we needed - lots of towels and the kitchen had everything you could think of. Beds were comfortable! The amenities on the property were great! Mel & Rob were very helpful, accommodating and pleasant to chat with! Would love to come back again! ”

“This is a comfortable house, well located and equipped, in a nice quite neighbourhood with a beach 3-5 minutes walk away. There was a problem (not the host's fault) in the beginning that the owners solved promptly. It was very helpful having Katie close by. Overall we had a great time. ”

“The place is really nice, great for large family gatherings, great location and nice layout. The communication with the property manager was challenging. From check-in that was clunky and after checkout they waited two weeks to return my deposit saying there was damage but not communicating what was damaged. Ultimately my the deposit was return, because there was no damage. I would encourage folks to take pictures upon leaving to ensure no damage is reported that was not your responsibility.”

“Great place, we really enjoyed our stay! Short drive to the beach and great front porch and back fire pit area. Only complaint is the dishwasher didn't work very well, probably needs a good cleaning or to be replaced.”
