Vacation home by the water / Wiek on Rügen

A peaceful, natural setting on the wild and romantic Wittow Peninsula, just a few steps from the Bodden waters. A tree-lined garden with a covered carport offers space for both relaxing and playing. The Swedish-style house features 2 balconies and a spacious, sunny veranda with a view of Hiddensee and its lighthouse. The living area, complete with a wood-burning stove, TV, Wi-Fi, and access to the veranda, opens onto the dining area, which features a large, inviting table perfect for cozy meals or extended board game sessions. Behind it lies the open, well-equipped kitchen with a cooking island and its own access to the veranda and garden. Through the entryway—which includes an adjacent small bathroom (toilet and shower) and an utility room (with a washer-dryer combo)—you reach the upper floor, featuring a large hallway with its own balcony access, an additional bathroom (toilet and bathtub), and two bedrooms with double beds (160 x 200 cm), one with a balcony and one with a storage closet (with a crib, 80 x 180 cm; upon request, a bed for a toddler and a high chair can be provided. Unfortunately, we do not provide bedding for the children’s beds, but there are no additional costs for a crib). Just 50 m from the Bodden waters with a kiteboarding and surfing beach, as well as biking and hiking trails—for example, to Cape Arkona—right outside the door. The beautiful beaches of Schaabe and Nonnevitz are about 7 km away, and sailing and horseback riding are available in the area. E-bikes can be rented in Wiek, where you’ll also find a charming harbor, cafés, restaurants, a bakery, a grocery store, and small boutiques within walking distance. Included in the price are final cleaning, bed linens, towels, dish towels, and water and energy consumption (excluding charging for electric cars). Toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, etc., for your stay are provided. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. As a resort town, Wiek is subject to a visitor’s tax, which must be paid on-site at the tourist information office in the town center. Final cleaning on Saturdays poses a major time constraint for the housekeeper; therefore, we offer check-in from Sunday through Friday, with check-in starting at 5:00 p.m. and check-out by 10:00 a.m. Our vacation home is available during the summer months from June through August; rentals outside of this period are not currently planned.
