Just a few minutes from the thatched cottage is Wiek’s popular kitesurfing spot. Thanks to consistent winds and expansive beaches, it’s a true paradise for kitesurfers. Windsurfers will also find ideal conditions here—whether beginners or advanced, there’s something for everyone.
In addition to water sports, the surrounding area has plenty to offer: A trip to the impressive Cape Arkona, with its lighthouses and sweeping views of the Baltic Sea, is just as worthwhile as a leisurely stroll through Wiek’s historic town center with its small shops and cafés.
