“What a gem - in quiet village - our go to place to stay to visit Designer Outlet and York city the next day - staff extremely welcoming and helpful - cosy country atmosphere -our second stay and will be going back to try the super menu for Sunday lunch - thanks team for making our stays so perfect every time !!!”

“The real problem is that the spa is not working and that’s the reason why I stayed in the hotel. I should have been notified same way I got a message about how busy is the restaurant and that needs to be booked beforehand.

“Great experience. The building is quaint, cozy, with a unique design and interior decoration. Beautiful dining area and bar.
The room (ground floor), was spacious and with a lovely art deco interior.
Very nice shower with good water pressure, nice choice of shower gels and other amenities.
The plumbing in the toilet was a bit iffy, but nothing too serious.
Very comfortable bed, with soft pillows (this is my preference so I was happy with it).

“Wonderful stay. Greeted initially by a friendly face from Louise who was very informative and quick check-in. Slept like a log, very comfortable bed. Great sized room, well-equipped bathroom with a shower that had great pressure. Lovely area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. ”
