“I stayed at this property with my husband, elderly mother and infant son. Both my elderly mother and my infant child are extremely vulnerable to the heat. The blind in my elderly mother's bedroom was broken (despite clearly shown to be working in the listing photograph) meaning there was no airflow through the room, making it not only uncomfortable but also dangerously hot. The windows in my infants bedroom were all broken, meaning there was no airflow through the room and it was ten degrees...

“We had a very comfortable stay in a twin room with a huge bathroom (no sea view). The room was clean and had everything we needed including a fan (although I had to clean it before use). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The Boat House is nice and close to the beach and both Ryde and Seaview are walkable. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice.”

“What a lovely stay run by a lovely couple. A quirky friendly B&B within easy walking distance of town ( a little up hill on the way back) Beautiful garden full of interest. A perfectly cooked breakfast in the morning made using good quality produce. Along with cereals, yogurts and juice. Homely and clean. You really felt like a guest rather than just another number moving through. They have two small friendly dogs but kept them out of the way for a guest who felt nervous around dogs....

“Lovely Hotel , very clean and fab room but could of done with a bigger room with our Grandson.! Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. A tiny fridge would be helpful in the room but over all we had a lovely stay at the Birdham. What a lovely part of the Island Bembridge is, in my opinion the nicest exception apart from the Needles. Bembridge has lovely quiet beaches to visit and we found the people very friendly. Was a wonderful week🙂”

“Really enjoyed my stay. From start to end it was truly amazing and such a issue-free experience. The staff was all very kind, helpful and professional. Breakfast was a delight every morning and the pool in the afternoon was the cherry on top. The hotel is very charming and carries a relaxed feel. The location was by far my favourite in the whole island.”

“A lovely little hotel a couple of minutes walk away from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the theatre and restaurants. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable … quite a small bathroom but fine for a night’s stay. It was quite warm in the room and we couldn’t open one of the windows as the latch was broken.
