“This is our second stay at Langrigg. We enjoyed it very much. It is a very quiet location. The wildlife is there to see. We loved seeing the hares running around. One little one came up to our patio door. The birdsong is magnificent. The house is very comfortable and bright and in the main it is clean. It does need a bit more attention to detail in the bathrooms. Particularly behind the toilet in the small en-suite bathroom.”

We also found the email communication and friendliness of Keswick Cottages shop staff to be exactly what one would hope from a holiday cottage letting company. “Sheepfold Barn, as the name suggests, is a well presented barn conversion with lots of light and is fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. The location is fantastic with great dog walks on the doorstep. Being lambing season we were entertained by the frolicking lambs as we relaxed in the jacuzzi. Our dogs were very well behaved, initially curious but the long walks made them too tired to care.
