  • Bungalow di dimensioni generose accanto a una fattoria funzionante con vasca idromassaggio e giardino d'inverno soleggiato. Splendide passeggiate e paesaggi mozzafiato vicino a Cockermouth. . Tutti al piano terra:
    Soggiorno: con stufa a legna, TV digitale terrestre, lettore DVD e lettore CD.
    Sala da pranzo.
    Cucina: con cucina elettrica, forno a microonde, frigorifero / congelatore, lavastoviglie, lavatrice e asciugatrice.
    Conservatorio.
    Camera 1: con letto matrimoniale e bagno privato con vasca e servizi igienici.
    Camera 2: con letto matrimoniale e bagno privato con box doccia e servizi igienici.
    Camera da letto 3: con letto matrimoniale e bagno privato con box doccia e servizi igienici.

Questo spazioso bungalow per vacanze è ben arredato e dotato di buoni servizi. Vi è un eccellente rapporto tra camere da letto e bagni, più la vasca idromassaggio e la sauna aiutano a fornire alloggi adatti ad amici e famiglie per rilassarsi e condividere il comfort. La caldaia a biomassa fornisce un riscaldamento ecologico. Situata in una posizione tranquilla nella piccola frazione di Langrigg, vicino alla fattoria mista dei proprietari, la casa vacanze è in posizione ideale per esplorare il North Western Lake District e la Solway Coast, a 10 miglia, che è ben nota per i suoi campi da golf. Splendide passeggiate, piste ciclabili e paesaggi mozzafiato abbondano di interesse per storici, ornitologi e appassionati di attività all'aperto. L'interessante e tradizionale città di mercato di Cockermouth con il suo collegamento William Wordsworth e la famosa e vivace cittadina sul lago di Keswick sono entrambi a circa 20 minuti di auto. La città di confine di Carlisle è qualche minuto più avanti insieme al Muro di Adriano e alla Scozia. Negozio 2 miglia, pub 1 miglio.

Excellent

Great layout, very well equipped and in a good location. Suited us well with grown up children and a granddaughter we had plenty of space for everyone to chill out separately or sit together and chat, hot tub was lovely and well used. Owner met us on day one and was friendly and welcoming letting us know where they were incase of problems but as we had none we didn't see him again, well worth a visit we would stay again if returning to the area.

This is a lovely place to stay, it was very clean and had everything you needed.

This is a lovely place to stay, it was very clean and had everything you needed. The hot tub being inside was a bonus. A couple of negatives but nothing major, the sofas could do with updating and the duvets and pillows couple do with replacing but the beds are very comfortable. Another bonus was being able to go onto the working farm next door and see the new born piglets, the children were thrilled with this. Very clean and comfortable, nice bottle of wine,flowers and some fresh eggs left by the owners was a lovely touch. Great location for visiting the Lakes and the coastal areas. We went in October so the weather was let’s just say changeable but we knew in would be . Hot tub and sauna were an excellent way to chill out and the kids loved the spacious bungalow to run about in . Absolutely no negatives, hope to come again in the future. Just be careful of a massive pothole as you turn into the entrance of the farm leading to the cottage although once you’ve seen it it’s easy to avoid. Langrigg is a perfect location for visiting the coast, the mountains and the lakes and was brilliant for social distancing because nowhere was crowded. We all loved it at Oaklands (5 of us) the cottage was very spacious and clean. Leading off to the left from the entrance hall were the bedrooms (2 double bed with shower cubicle, 1 double with bath no shower , 1 Twin with main bathroom opposite)The shower in the main bathroom not so good (low pressure) but the en suite showers in the bedrooms were fine.Leading off to thr right was the kitchen, it was well equipped but dishwasher didn't always was properly.The kitchen leads onto the Dining Room & large Lounge with 2 large leather sofas and 1 leather chair plus 2 more chairs, large Smart TV and wood burning fire & an oval coffee table, could do with a couple of small tables to put drinks on as well. In the Conservatory there was a lovely Hot Tub and Sauna with Wicker seating to relax on.The cottage is well situated for the lakes and coast and we will hopefully be 're visiting in the future Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A very comgortable cottage where we awere able to have a lovely get together with the family. Loved the hot tub. Lovely sized bedrooms with very clean ensuite facilities. Pub only open on weekend. Had to get in the car to go anywhere but never the lass had a lovely stay.

Perfect property for a group as allowed everyone sufficient space. Well appointed and clean. Peaceful setting. Friendly owners who left a very welcome gift including fresh eggs from their farm. Hot tub and sauna a bonus, especially if the weather had been poor. Would recommend

A lovely place to stay lovely surroundings and very quiet! The only issues we had were the flies but that’s to be expected on a working farm and the dining table was only big enough to seat 6 comfortably despite the house accommodating 8 people so was a bit of a squeeze for us! The hot tub was amazing and a real treat after a day out trecking the mountains would definitely recommend

A wonderful holiday home with so much room to relax in.

A wonderful holiday home with so much room to relax in. The hosts are amazing - they allowed us to see all the animals on the farm which was brilliant. An ideal base for the lakes, Hadrians wall and the coast. Definitely recommend.

This is the 4th time we have been here, it’s great if you want a quite location with easy access to the Lake District, the hot tub and sauna were a hit with everyone. The children especially enjoyed a trip round the farm seeing all the animals. We will definitely be back.
