Appalling
The light didn't work and she tried to give me an excuse on why not to fix it. The beds weren't even beds they were cots. And when I tried to discuss my disappointment she changed the subject about how the had gotten rid of wooded bed frames for metal ones because the hotel across the street had bed bugs. The walls were filthy and there were ants in the bathroom. The fridge barely worked. I stayed with two other people in this room that you could barely walk in. The photos don't do justice. The hot tub wasn't warm it only made bubbles. The parking wasn't bad and it was a short walk to the boardwalk so it was convenient. But for the price I paid for this motel wasn't worth it.

You were looking for an upgrade you needed a light bulb in your room. Did you ever have a light bulb go out in your house. The beds are euro spa beds and designed to prevent bed bugs which people bring with them in their luggage. If you cant listen to sound reasoning then I dont know what to say

Total Nightmare
Because we booked through Expedia and got a lower rate, we were put in a shoe box of a room. The pictures on the web site are old. This place looks nothing like the description in the pictures. It's a dump! And needs lots of upgrades. The beds are metal cots with flat wire mattresses that dig into your back. You wake up in pain.They don't provide cleaning service at all. Even when you ask the staff, they tell you yes and never come. The air conditioning system was piped into the exhaust fan in the bathroom causing extreme heat in the bathroom. At all times I was hot and sweaty while using this room. Then the air conditioner shut down, now the owner had to do something to help us we consistently raised our unhappiness about all the issues at hand. The owner was very good at turning things around in her favor, so she didn't have to address any of your concerns. But when we had no air she couldn't ignore us anymore. She had us move all of our things to another room. Only to come knocking at the door and telling us to move back to the hot shoe box of a room. The owner told us the air conditioning was working again. We moved back and the room was still hot and very uncomfortable, we remained in that miserable motel under duress. When you check in there are signs that state that you will not be refunded any of your money. If you go to this Motel even after reading my review, look at the room that you've booked before you give this lady any of your currency. Stay at your own risk!

Nice, clean, great owner and close to beach.
My family and I stayed here for a weekend trip to the beach. We could literally walk two blocks to the beach and it was close to everything. The owner was very welcoming and assisted in helping us go to a great restaurant for dinner. She was so friendly and runs a good place! The pool was great my kids had a blast and the rooms were a good size for the price and came with dishes and fresh towels. Very clean! We will surely come back again. Only thing was th beds were very stiff and my back hurt a bit but hey it was worth it!

Avoid At All Costs!!
Upon arrival we walked into a small dingy room with a table that read "ring doorbell for service". Above the door read a sign "do not p*** off the blonde" very classy.... we were then greeted by Kathleen the owner who told us our room was ready and gave us the key. As we walked into the room we opened the door and the guests before us still had their luggage inside! We alerted the maids who couldn't understand us and contacted Kathleen. The room was absolutely disgusting! The walls were Black from all the dirt! Flys and ants everywhere, gross floors and beds, and an air conditioner that was falling out of the wall with gaps in between it, so insects could get in! I can only imagine the bedbugs in that room! We heard a knock on the door later that evening and there was Kathleen screaming profanity and busting down the door yelling at us to leave because of a noise complaint. Not even a warning. Not to mention there were children outside as she is screaming like a classless individual. Thank god we left to avoid any possible bed bug bites! I have never seen such a disgrace of an establishment in my life. Please do yourselves a favor and turn the other way! This hotel should be shutdown!

You completely misrepresented your reservation and you were trashing the room it was time for you to vacate the premises. You caused another guest to check out of the room early because you were making so much noise you and your univited guests were extremely rude and you had no sense of awareness. You frankly have a lot of nerve writing any kind of review. You obviously have no shame

Avoid at all costs.
I have traveled quite a bit in my lifetime thus far, and this place is by far the worst I have ever had the unfortunate experience of staying in. To start, the owner is an awful, unprofessional woman who switched us to three different rooms before putting us in our designated room upon check-in. This "mix-up" according to her was because it was United Nations week and all of our ethnic names are confusing. Next, no housekeeping was done throughtout our stay. At 8 pm, unannounced, all water is shut off so that the nasty owner can fill up the pool with water. I found this out mid shower, covered in soap. Finally, the owner cursed me out and borderline harrassed me on two separate occasions. The first, she thought that i was the source of a noise complaint, and she threatened to kick me out while neighbors repeatedely told her it wasn't me. She attempted to enter my room with my possesions still inside but retreated when she realized that she was wrong. Second, she chased my car down after I had already checked out because i left garbage IN THE GARBAGE CAN and needed to pay an extra $50 cleaning fee. I can not begin to explain to you how awful this experience was. Please spend your money elsewhere.

Hotel needs some work. pool OK
I was expecting a little better.needs to upgrade bedding, also towels to old and needs places to hang things in room. Fresh paint would help a lot. Floors in bathroom needs work

Thank you for your review the beds have metal boxsprings because it prevents any problems with bed bugs. I never had an issue with bed bugs because of the metal frames I am going to upgrade the mattresses to 14 inches in size. Thank you for your review. The feedback is important to us and it helps us to make the proper improvements I hope to see you in the future.

It is Wildwood.....don't expect much
Place was clean but not as hotels.com advertised. It was supposed to be a 1 bedroom unit but it was a single room and was beyond tiny. The pool was nice and it is walking distance to everything. The woman who checled us in was great and friendly.

Thank you for your review. I only wish I could make the rooms a bit larger. I do however have larger rooms but they sleep 4 to 8 people. Thank you for your feedback it is important to better accommadate our guests

Great place
The motel is walking distance to the boardwalk. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room we had was excellent and clean. They have a parking lot close by since the lot on site is small. Would definitely stay here again

Nice Hotel close to beach and boardwalk
Good experience. Manager is awesome. Room very clean. Too small for us but that is on us for next time. Couldn't be more pleased on this stay.

Nice little old school motel near the beach
We booked the rooms to attend our first "The Race of Gentlemen" event. Kathleen was great to deal with and very accommodating. Sure it's not a 5 Star palace but if you want the whole "Wildwood" experience, it is the perfect place to stay

Cute friendly motel
My daughter my fiance and myself came to twilight motel for 5 nights for our family vacation. From the moment we arrived it was a great trip. We got out of the car and the first person to greet us was the owner Kathleen, she had us checked in within three minutes. She made conversation with us and is very personable. We got to our room to start unpacking, it was very clean and a perfect size for the three of us. We got a room with a kitchenette so we didnt have to eat out the whole time we were there. It had pots and pans and silverware and plates and Bowls, everything you need. And the fridge is full size so that's a plus. Everyday Kathleen would ask us if we needed anything and was always quick to get it if we did. She even went out of her way to let me use her computer to fill out something I needed done back home. I recommend staying at this motel.

Irish Weekend Getaway
Very reasonable price for s last minute booking for Irish weekend. Friendly front desk service. Didn't bother me, but there was no room cleaning during my stay. Few parking spaces, although there is another lot a block away. Full kitchen, which was super convenient! Very spacious & clean. Hooks could be helpful since there are no closets and only one dresser. Great for a weekend getaway.

The woman that owns this hotel is very very unprofessional! She yelled at me and two of my friends because of a mistake made by her she definitely does not know how to deal with mistakes made and how to talk to people in nice calm way and especially when she thinks it's your fault and if she thinks she is loosing money also we were charged more than our email said and didn't get the room a kitchen we had to be in a smaller room and pay more money terrible terrible customer service!

Clean but lacking common amenities
The room was clean, but very small. If you're only staying for a night or two it'll be just fine. However, the beds were literally the hardest mattresses I've ever seen. It felt as if I was laying on the floor. There was no stand up mirror. Not important to the men, but most women on vacation like to be able to get dressed up and look in the mirror at their outfit. There was no hair dryer, which to me was no biggie as I had brought my own. The location is pretty good, only a few blocks away from the boardwalk and there are restaurants a short walk away. I like that you don't have to get parked in and give the front desk your car keys like many other motels in the area. The only dresser in my room smelled terribly of mold or mildew and I couldn't put my clothes in it and there was no place to hang anything. There is no wifi in the rooms which is very inconvenient. All in all it was a decent place for the price I paid and only 3 nights. If you're staying any longer than a few nights, this probably isnt the place to go unless all you're looking for is a bed to sleep on at night.

I can't wait for next year!!!
Five of us were looking for a place where we could all stay and be together and found it at the Twilight!! After reading some other reviews, I was a little skeptical, but I couldn't have been happier. I had expected the apartment to be smaller, most pictures are taken with a fish eye lens to give the appearance that it's bigger than it truly is, but not this room. The room looked EXACTLY like the pictures. It was clean, well stocked with all that we needed, and comfortable. The beds were new and comfortable, even the murphy bed. The small air conditioners were more than enough to keep the place very comfortable, even in 90+ degree heat! We all slept soundly, like we were at home. The manager, Kathleen, was warm, friendly, treated us like family, and made sure that we had whatever we needed. We decided to have steak one night and the grill that's available for guests was new and worked like a charm. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained and just the ticket after a long ride or walking and enjoying Wildwood all day. If I could give the Twilight and Kathleen more than 5 stars I would!!! We had a wonderful vacation, due in large part to Kathleen and the Twilight. If you're looking for a place to stay in Wildwood, give the Twilight a shot. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Kathleen.... I can't wait for next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love that pool water was warm. My sin has sickle cell si cant be in cold water.Jaccuzi hot firsr day just warm the next 3 days.i stayed in 2 bedroom apt..good size but no closet just dresser so i just kept my clothes in suitcase. Murphy bed was nice in livingroom by far the most comfartable out the beds. But no couch do thats awkawrd tecnically sitting on somones bed.i woyld stay her again deck and grills cool not 5 star but worthy of another stay if i could get the 2 bedroom again for the price i did 129 a night awesome deal. Good group of people when we went didnt give us wifi password so ask info not offered.but pass reviews i was scared to ask owner anything.

We really enjoyed ourselves. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. My children made new friends and they exchanged numbers. I definitely will return.

Newly renovated hotel close to boardwalk
A good place to stay. Less than 3 blocks from Boardwalk. Cozy hotel. Nice pool. Beds were a little uncomfortable. Owner very pleasant. A little Jem in the heart of wildwood. I would stay again.

Great place for the family to stay!
The owner is wonderful. She's very nice and makes sure her guests are taken care of. The room is very clean and I really enjoy my stay. I will be staying there again next year.

Horrible Hotel!!!
My family and I booked the hotel for 2 days and added an additional day. Theres limited parking! We had to park a block from the hotel! We got to our room and I must say they are EXTREMELY small!!! We could barely move around! The bathroom smelled like pee. When I told the maintance person he said that happens at times! I went to tell the owner she wasn't aviable the door was locked and no one was picking up the phone!!! The house keeping lady kept banging on our door even thou I said we don't need house keeping!!! She then tried to open the door lucky I had the cart against the back of my door if not she would of walked in as my daughter was changing!!! The final straw was on the last day. After I previously paid for an additional night I get a text message from the owner stating she over booked the hotel. How could I enjoy my day at the beach when I was just told my room was no longer available for my children and I to stay in!!! She said we can rinse ourselves off in the back as if we were DOGS!!! I was extremely frustrated and the owner didn't care!!! I would NEVER stay at this hotel nor recommend it to anyone!!!
