We really liked the location and ease of getting to many attractions. Our kids fully enjoyed the ping pong table and foosball table in our down times. The surrounding land was forested and beautiful to drive through. We had plenty of room.Pros: Wonderful log cabin feeling inside and out. Wonderful atmosphere!The kitchen was well equipped, except it could have used a few more pots and pans.Great filter on kitchen sink for drinking water.Plenty of couch space for us.Wonderful porch and back deck.Plenty of towels.Nice big eating table.Plenty of toilet paper (thank you!).Easy check-in.Cons: Someone else mentioned in the reviews that the master bathroom lacked privacy. Now we understand. While there is a nice door separating the room from the main part of the house, there were no solid doors within the bedroom suite, including to the toilet. The toilet was behind swinging salon-type doors that did not extend to the floor or ceiling. We ended up going to one of the other bathrooms at times. This really made it feel like the house was not quite worth the price, although there were so many other good things about it. A burner was out on the grill, so it took more care and longer times for our grilled meals. Our boys thought the beds were hard; the master bed was comfortable. It would be nice to have quality ping pong balls, rather than misshapen ones. Although they weren't so misshapen that we couldn't play, this just seems like an easy thing to fix.
