“It was a great first camping trip for the kids. The safari tent was well-heated, included all items we needed and had the perfect decor to make our stay welcoming. Some drawbacks were the mattress (needs a new, updated mattress so you don't roll into the middle), the close proximity to the interstate (the traffic noise at night was loud for us) and the EMF towers that were at the entrance of the campsite. “It was really nice. A couple things I would be aware of is the bathrooms are up a steep hill and is not well lit at night. It was not an easy hill and I workout. Also bring extra blankets. The top twin bunk did not have a comforter so we had to go buy blankets. Overall it was clean, comfy and fun!”

“We stayed one night while visiting The Ark Encounter. What an amazing tent/cabin! We absolutely loved it and wished we were staying the whole weekend. The air conditioning kept up wonderfully for it was very hot day. I loved the "tent" aspect of hearing the chirping at night, but being comfortable in a bed with air. “We loved the location and how peaceful it was. I'm a senior and I found that walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night uphill got old but we were told about that so I expected it. We had the tent that was the one farthest from the bathrooms, which didn't help. The only thing I was upset about was they had a coffee pot, coffee but no water or cups. Didn't understand that. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. ”

“I loved everything about the stay. The plane woke me up a few times while I was there the first night because I had never heard one that close before. My kids were intrigued by it the next day but they slept through it. Everything was wonderful, and the playground really helped with the few downtimes we had. I’ll be bringing my husband and sons with use next time and maybe a few other glampers.”

“Pros: The “tents” were very nice. The beds were comfortable. The refrigerator and freezer work really well. The bathrooms were very nice, much better than I was picturing. We felt very safe. It was a very great location for the ark-like 5 minutes away. The best thing about this place was the environment. My daughters made so many friends and everyone was so kind.
