“The staff are invariably cheerful, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Bed was very comfortable, and bathroom facilities good. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and the room was very dusty in the corners; the public areas were also not sparkling clean, but overall the hotel was just what we needed, and location was perfect for us. Great views of the pond and wildlife at breakfast! We will definitely stay again in future.”

“We stayed for 3 nights to explore Skipton and the Dales. The hotel is situated a distance from Skipton centre. It is a pleasant half hour walk along the canal towpath into town or a 5 min drive. The hotel is large, with carpark and with various room styles. It fronts onto a busy road so best to ask for a back facing room with a window view. Our room was on the 5th floor up in the eaves, with a velux window, no view, and was very tired and outdated especially the 90s style, grey bathroom....
