“Staff was very helpful--allowed me to check in two hours early. Good security in the building after dark--doors locked and need to use card for access after 10:00 PM. Staff helpful in recommending good, nearby places to eat. Room was clean. Breakfast was adequate but not spectacular--having bacon or sausage patties would have been a big plus.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. Our assigned room was not clean but they quickly assigned us a nice room. The pool was nice but the hot tub water was yellow and not appealing. Otherwise we had a nice time.”

“Really cool old hotel with lots of character! The bed was very comfy and the room was huge! You can’t beat the location!”

“Thankfully this hotel will start a remodel this week because it is in poor shape. Our room door would not close despite trying to slam it and having the front desk look at it so we slept with only a chain to keep people out. The tv remote didn’t work despite replacing the batteries. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the exposed pipes under the sink had black tape wrapped all over them. Our bed was comfortable though and they had a huge, cool wall hanging of Amelia Earhart.”
