The setting out the front door was looking to the woods and was nice.The negatives: The bed was extremely soft, and although this is subjective, I felt that the quality was definitely lacking. Both my partner and I came away with aching bodies from the poor mattress. The pillows were hard large lumps and we couldn't use them. Again, seems like the quality was lacking. We were only two...

“loved the place and area, only issue was it did seem like it wasn’t properly cleaned before we arrived and found someone’s socks under the pull out couch. But overall everything else was great! ”

“Our stay was wonderful. The only improvement we could suggest would be the living room sofa was very uncomfortable for both my husband and I. ”

“The location of the cabin is absolutely amazing! Literally in the middle of the woods with nothing else in sight. The view from the cliff is breathtaking, especially at sunset. We enjoyed cooking on the camp stove and eating by a fire in the evenings. If you want to get away and truly be “away” from it all, this is the place. Will definitely be back again! ”

“Clean and quiet”

“The property was very nice, super clean and comfortable. We were disappointed that the washing machine was out of order. However, it ended up not being a big deal. I would recommend updating the mattress in the master bedroom. It was a little hard. Other than those two things, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!”

“Blue Ridge Retreat is very nicely furnished and decorated, and was very clean. The beds are a dream to sleep in! And we loved the fact that walking trail access is just 20-30 steps away. We also loved seeing the goats on the other side of the property fence. Would definitely recommend this home, and we plan to come back often!!!”
