Chalet a Windermere

“Rooms were clean, spacious, staff helpful but breakfast was a disappointment”

“Pro. Clean room. Views. Bar. Staff helpful Cons smelly plumbing in room. Breakfast chaotic when busy. Having to order eggs/porridge and point to your table isn’t great. Coffee is from a machine, awful. Tea from a teabag isn’t great but better than the coffee”

“We came here after our trek from Scafell Pike and it was exactly what we needed to relax which was a lovely hot tub. Lauren was very helpful and welcomed us in. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.”

“Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. Il personale è cordiale e la posizione è comoda, considerando che c’è anche il parcheggio a disposizione degli ospiti. Ottima la colazione. La struttura é un po’ datata ma la camera era pulita.”

“We had room 310 it where there are some sort of blowers air con also a fire door is left open and the staff use it come come in and out but the hotel is a great place to stop apart from this”

“Great communication with host and location excellent.”

“The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

“The Cottage is a pleasant accommodation in Windermere, located not too far from the train and bus station. I enjoyed my stay, however my room had cobwebs which doesn't look good.”

“It was quiet, extremely well looked after and my room was large and had a,good en-suite.”

“Nice, Big Room! Beautiful Decorated House. Helpful and Friendly staff.”
