  • Un moderno e contemporaneo affaccio su un tradizionale cottage a schiera nel cuore del villaggio di Windermere .. Piano terra:
    Proprietà ha riscaldamento a gas e comprende:
    Lounge / sala da pranzo: Open space con divani in pelle imbottite profonde, mobili in rovere massello, fuoco elettrico con effetto fiamma in un camino in marmo, TV a schermo piatto, lettore DVD e CD.
    Cucina: con piano cottura elettrico e doppio forno, microonde, lavatrice, frigorifero, congelatore e lavastoviglie. . Primo piano:
    Camera da letto 1: Una camera spaziosa con letto king-size, mobili in rovere massello, TV e un pratico essiccatoio con una piccola asciugatrice ventilata.
    Camera 2: con due letti singoli, TV con canali Freeview e lettore DVD.
    Bagno: con doccia e vasca, lavabo e WC .. Tutto gas, elettrico, biancheria da letto e asciugamani inclusi. Telefono per chiamate di emergenza e in arrivo. Internet Wi-Fi disponibile .. Parcheggio dedicato per un'auto .. Situato in un tranquillo vicolo cieco a pochi passi dal cuore di questo famoso villaggio, School Knott Cottage sul sito del vecchio edificio Kodak, è in posizione ideale per esplorare le delizie come le meravigliose passeggiate, shopping, tour e ristoranti in questa zona ha da offrire. Con facile accesso alla strada principale, Ambleside, Grasmere e Keswick sono presto raggiungibili. A soli cinque minuti di strada si trova in posizione ideale per i viaggiatori della rete ferroviaria, il supermercato Booths e il famoso negozio Lakeland.

    Orrest Head, il famoso belvedere, è a pochi passi da dove si possono ammirare splendide vedute sul Lago Windermere e sulla Scuola Knott. Bowness sul lago Windermere con la sua ricchezza di negozi e ristoranti e crociere sul lago è solo una bella passeggiata lungo la strada (circa 1 miglio).

It’s not a picturesque cottage or a picturesque location but it’s very convenient, particularly if you’re using public transport. There’s no outside space but we were out enjoying the area the whole time anyway. A good family base for exploring with everything you need to feel comfortable. Fantastic cottage, very well equipped with good quality furnishing and even crockery and glassware great. Very central location in walking distance of so much . Felt like home from home . Spotlessly clean which even more important this year . Only difficulty was parking very tight and on a slope, our difficulty was having big vans parked either side of us making it stressful . Fantastic property in a really good location.

Fantastic property in a really good location. Quiet yet in a bustling town with off street parking albeit on a difficult slope. The cottage was homely and furnished extremely well. The only thing that the cottage needs is a garden space for the kids to play outside in.... however this is fairly difficult to achieve. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommended. The most important requirement we have is the cleanliness of the cottage and this cottage came up trumps. Well equipped with kitchen utensils, good shower and comfortable beds. The only slight criticism is that it would have been nice to have a small welcome pack. Dennis

Great holiday cottage. Bigger than I expected and very clean with everything we needed for 2 adults 2 young kids. Location great for shops and restaurants and walking up orrest head. Also very convenient for exploring surrounding area.

We spent a week at the School Knott Cottage with our two boys, and found it a perfect base for exploring the South-Eastern Lakes. Cottage's location in the centre of town is handy for walking to restaurants and shops. We also walked to Bowness (25min) a couple of times instead of driving. We brought a small car, which made using our allocated parking slot near the cottage easier to use. The cottage itself was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. We loved it.
